Oh wow the forum dice roller is complete broken. One single roll, no edits on the post and it's already "modified".
But.. game log doesn't seem much better - to me it shows the last roll from Septmber 1st.
I don't know which one is better.. I guess I'll post in the game thread in separate posts so that even when it shows "modified" then you can see that the posts are actually not edited.
All 3 spiders are tempting targets. I'll figure out what Beegred will do, after hearing if the spider at G17 was finished off by Thurnir or not.
Since Orubis will be leaving the party, maybe he should have a dramatic death scene at this moment. Instead of falling unconscious into the web, maybe he should cough out a lot of blood (showing that he will die soon), and then fall into the depths without any webs to slow his inevitable impact. (Ideally, he would somehow manage to rip off all of his equipment before falling, so the party can scavenge that, but that might be asking a bit too much.)

The spider next to Thurnir rolled low for HP, so Thurnir has obliterated it.
As for Orubis, I can have the spider miraculously survive, then grab Orubis and flee. It is effectively dead and out of combat, but would serve as an instrument to write Orubis out of the campaign.
Or not. Just have Orubis turn back when you all reach the surface.
Rather not have the body dragged away, thurnir would feel obligated to chase it down. (and might get an AOO).
Funny about looting dead PCs- I once played in a a 3.5 campaign where the DM gave so little loot and killed so many PCs (and PCs started with magic items) that PC deaths became the main source of party income!
Putting all the rolls in one post in the main thread Normally I'd check the DEX save to see if the move succeeded, and then edit for the rest of his turn, but editing a post increases the chance of goofy roll results.
Two "1"s out of 4 rolls (save and 2nd attack)? Halfling Luck paid off this turn.

Yeah. Just be aware the log doesn't auto roll crit damage. I rolled the damage twice, but the modifier got added twice. So have to substract the modifier.
"Skameros's first slash at the Gnoll causes the gnoll to vaporize into a mist. The second slash passes through the mist and appears to cause it to dissipate and disappear."
So did I. Lol. So my last post makes no sense. The main point is that was no ordinary Gnoll...
Reaching out to touch base. How is everyone doing regarding combat and story progression?
The climb to the surface was supposed to be 3 checks with combats on fails, then an easy important story encounter. I have replaced the story encounter with the booming voice, so that's done. The second part was supposed to be a long rest followed by 3 more checks with (easier) encounters on fails, followed by the boss event.
The purpose of the last 3 checks is to introduce the possibility of going into the boss event with depleted resources. Otherwise you'll probably mop the floor with the encounter for something that is supposed to be significant to the story.
That being said, how are you all doing? Are your resources good enough to go into a boss fight, or do you want a long rest first with some more potential combats before getting to a boss fight?
So the Gnoll is restrained by webs?

Your logs correct - that was the last time anyone (Kerrec) rolled in the dice roller - they've been using the forums since then.

He posted yesterday (September 12th):
But maybe he rolled in a way that was "DM only" or something.

Ugh. The Game Log has visible to GM Only or Everyone options. I thought I had switched it to Everyone...

Sorry, the Gust is for pushing 5 feet away, not 15 feet. But I'm too afraid to edit the post to change it there.
Also this just became a scene out of Evil Dead hehe

Just realized I didn't post the damage the hand did to Skameros.
That's 4 whole pre-rage-reduction damage from that critical hit...
Yeah I looked in the logs :)
we've moved in to a slap fight now

Pretty sure there is no gnoll body
