Veryes releases the gold with a nod of thanks to the bartender. The releasing the breath she was holding when getting back to the rest of the party "Phew, well that went better than expected. Paying work sounds good to me!"

"Can we talk a little about our meeting later with the brothers? Somewhere more private, I think?"

Veryes will walk out of the bar and look for a somewhat private spot on the street she can talk to the party. "I don't think we should all go into the bar for the meeting tonight. If things go south it would good if some folks were on the outside to get help. Maybe we could spend a little time scouting out the area around the bar and see if there's other ways in and out?"

I would like to stay outside the bar, says Sen firmly.  I seem to have nothing but bad luck at the moment, but especially in bars.  I don't mind looking for exits, though I suppose they'll be closely watched.  He thinks for a moment.  If you meet a contact who knows the Stonetooth Brothers and would be able to get into their club, don't forget that I can disguise myself (Disguise Self), but only if I can get a good look at them.  Though using that spell goes horribly wrong as often as not, he says, scowling at the long list of disasters in his memory.

If the group goes with Veryes' plan, Sen will try to see any useful exits, hiding places or other useful points around the tavern: Perception 0

Crush moves and stands directly in front of Sen while he tries to look around.

Usul adds, while they head to the job board "I will stay outside hidden with Sen to watch for anything strange."

(lol, Sen. Wow!)

Veryes says "I do have a disguise kit too. Is it a totally crazy idea to go in there looking like Anna and see what happens?"

Aria stops in her tracks at the mention of that idea and looks back at Veryes..... "That will either go really well or extremely bad. If these brothers are as dangerous as people are making them out to be... is it a risk you can take?"

Looking back to Aria "I don't know. I guess it could go really bad. Maybe we save that one. See what info they have first."

I, um, oh, Crush, hi, do you think you could, um, no?  Okay, maybe, move just a little bit to the, okay, no, um, you know what, that's fine.  I'll just... stand right here and watch your back.

(LOL) Veryes pats Sen on the back "He means well, but damn he is big huh? Easier to just hop on his shoulders" she says with a grin

 This is exactly what happens with the 0. A 0!!! But Crush also accidentally stands on Sen's foot at one point, just on the very edge of his boot though, so Sen isn't in pain but can't move.

As some members of the party move outside, a tiefling approaches Veryes and Aria inside the bar. He is extremely hungover. A backpack is slung over his right shoulder.

"Heard you were looking for some work?" he says in a loud whisper. "I gotta delivery for you to make. There's a camp just outside of the city, to the south east. Bring this to them. I've got 50 gold for you now and they're good for another 100 if you make it to them."

Veryes moves a bit back from his stale breath and says to the Teifling "Well isn't that sweet of you" batting her lashes "Give me just a minute to talk to my friend here"

Turning to Aria she whispers "What do you think? I'm sure we'll have to fight for our pay on the other end so 150 gold now, 50 on delivery?"

Aria looks the Tiefling up and down....looks back at Veryes without taking her eyes off the Tiefling 

"I'm sure you can convince him that would be in his best interest. I mean, we are ...... SOME OF THE FINEST ADVENTURERS THIS TOWN HAS EVER KNOWN...    She winks to Veryes..  Was that convincing??

Veryes winks back at Aria and turns to face the Teifling. "Well you're in luck. We can make sure your delivery arrives safely. Our fee is 200 gold. 150 now and 50 on delivery." Moving in closer to the Tiefling to try and seal the deal "Then you can get back to whatever you're doing here. Looks like you're having fun and I'm sure you don't want that delivery sitting in a bar with you all day do you" (dice be good to me :)

The Tiefling looks at Aria and Veryes, and slings the pack off his shoulder. He considers the pack then looks at Veryes and says, "Deal. One minute." He looks at the bartender and gives a nod, gets up, and leaves the front room to go to one of the side rooms in the building. He returns a moment later and produces a few coin pouches. "They're a few miles southeast of the city. There should be about two dozen people or so. Tell them Sunkx sent you." 

Seeing Veryes take the backpack and hearing where to go ((assuming we're all headed straight to it)) Usul will lead the group through the city to the southern city gates before passing off the lead to someone else. Along the way, he'll quietly say to Veryes ((who is holding the bag?)) "so... wanna see what's in there?" with a mischievous grin
