Alten uses his reaction to cast Helish Rebuke 15 (half damage on DC 13 Dex save)
DM Note: Oops thought you were at 21 AC, your character sheet must reflect a past encounter... so it hits, then and in return... how do you want to do this?
Sorry. I screwed up. I misread it as a 19 to hit, which is my normal AC. The 21 is when I cast Shield of Faith (the sheet didn't clear it when I cast it in the last fight after the rest).
It didn't actually hit me, which means I can't Hellish Rebuke.

Talien will engage the uninjured hobgoblin, unsheathing his greatsword and slash at him.
Attack: 15 Damage: 8
The hobgoblin holds up his longsword two handed and catches your greatsword with bared teeth. You push down hard, but the hob seems pretty hardy and strong!

Not wanting to get any closer to the hobgoblins, Rees thinks back to the tricks the Traveler taught her and stretches out her hand. Embers rise from the fire (for flavor, because I think it'll look cool) as she casts catapult sending them straight at Hob2.

The hob sees you and watches tauntingly. He doges at the last moment and you see his eyes light up red as your spell flies passed him striking the back wall somewhere.

Shake moves quitely towards the damaged Hob, using it's engagement with his companions to sneak up behind it. Once there he pulls out his dagger and rapier and stabs the Hob with both.

Rapier Attack = 8, Rapier Damage = 7,

Sneak damage = 5
These guys are hard to hit... you're not finding a good gap in their armor...

Shake is up!
Rees is going to flick him off and use her movement/bonus action to hide
Grom Needing to put some space between him and these guys as they have proven to be hardy foes... will slap his chest and Cast Mage Armor
Grom will then move away from the Hobo he is engaged with...
DM NOTE Below
When this Hobo attacks me for moving... 1. Grom's Base AC is now 14 2. If and when attacked he has this: Arcane Deflection When you are hit by an attack or you fail a saving throw, you can use your reaction to gain a +2 bonus to your AC against that attack or a +4 bonus to that saving throw. When you use this feature, you can’t cast spells other than cantrips until the end of your next turn. Arcane Deflection: 1 Reaction
So when or If that hobo uses his opt. attack if a +2 would avoid the hit meaning a 16ac i would pop that skill... just wanted this all hear to keep this moving

The hob indeed seizes its opportunity to strike at you with it's longsword.. "Think your slick wiz-ard?" it cackles.

Grom casts his spell and is bathed in some sort of protective aura... but, the hob swings so hard the aura cannot withstand the blow and the hob's greatsword slices through biting into Grom!
Meepo yells, "LEave GrOm alone!" and fires an arrow...
More sparks shower as the longsword bites into Alten's armor...
The second hob grins and swings his longsword to handed at Grom!
Attack: 16 Damage: 3 + martial advantage 9 slashing damage
The hob lands a heavy blow against our dwarven wizard who watches the hob as it licks arterial spray from its lips....
That's 11 damage to Grom... Talien is up! The hob engaged with Alten is wounded.
So 16 total. OUCH.
AHHH!
