Martin steps up, listening to the conversation the whole time. "I can produce holy fire at will. Perhaps we could convince them the dragon is a actual god to get them to not try and capture it any more? I could even pretend to be it's priest?" He suggested with a slight wince at the thought of pretending to be a false priest.

Calcryx starts speaking in Common: I can understand you. And unfortunately, I am too young to be able to shapeshift. One day perhaps, but not today. You say we have to go through Kobold territory to leave here? What about creating a distraction while someone shows me the way out? Just an idea... we could also just threaten anybody who gets in our way... without actually killing any of them!
He then looks at Zak straight in the eyes, with a piercing glaze of gold, and states: I will not eat Kobold.
Eskie suddenly lifts up a silver flask: Oooh shiny! Anybody want to share some nice dwarven scotch? He opens the flask and gulps down a mouthful of liquid.
The three Kobold prisoners (19) are now whispering among themselves (5).
Zak looks back at Calcryx and only meets eyes for a split second. He can't get the nerve up to keep looking the Dragon in the eye.
He realizes that killing the Kobolds likely isn't going to happen, and clearly the Dragon won't eat them, so he pipes up:
"I'd be happy to, *ahem* *cough* distract the 3 Kobolds over there while you guys show Calcryx the way out. If you go the way we came, I don't think we will meet up with any other Kobolds."
Zak walks over to Eskie, grabs the flask, takes a big hit of the scotch and then goes over to the 3 Kobolds and starts dancing in front of them. Same moves as when he was dancing at the Inn.
Performance: 16
(hoping that regardless of how well Zak dances, the Kobolds will be distracted regardless due to seeing a huge Orc dancing).
"Okay, I'll concede that your idea is probably better," Gwenant holds up a finger and says, "We'll want to scout ahead though. Depending on if they've left any guards in Smokey's old room or not we might be able to just... walk out of here." She looks over to the party's resident kobold. "Spotty, whaddya think? Up for poking your nose through a door?"
The Kobolds get back against the wall and hide their faces in their hands when Zak starts dancing in front of them.
Talking it is!
More talking?? That’s all I’ve had for months, give me a real challenge!! Eskie says as he swings a goblin scimitar around a little awkwardly but he seems to have some idea of what he’s doing.
Zak is keeping a close eye on Eskie, a smidge concerned with him swinging that scimitar around, but just keeps dancing as Spotty zooms away to scout.
As the Kobolds put their faces in their hands and back up, Zak dances more and louder around them to keep freaking them out while the dragon escape commences.
Gwenant stares blankly at the sight of Eskie flailing around with a goblin scimitar. "Yeah, be careful there, friend. Speaking from experience that's an easy way to lose a toe..." She notices Renny's concerned look, gives her a confident smile, and mouths, "Don't worry about it." Internally, Gwenant was probably as worried as Renny, if not perhaps more so, but the sorceress didn't need to know that...
Deception: 6
Without much else to do, Gwenant stood next to the only door in the room that the party had not yet checked, ready for action should something attempt to enter uninvited.
Zak backs up a bit from the Kobolds but continues to dance and takes a quick peek out into the hallway to see if his comrades and the dragon have left yet. He then returns to the Kobolds and continues the distractions.
Spotty: you make your way stealthily, and meet nothing new on your path back through the dungeon until you get to the Dragon 'Prison' room, where you first met Meepo. There are two Kobold guards in there, that seem to be standing guard, or sitting guard actually: they are sitting by the doorway leading back to the Queen chomping on some food. They didn't seem to notice you arrive, and you can hear their conversation:
Once you get used to it, Rat meat ain't so bad.. almost better than Goblin meat I'd say!
EEeeeesh, no way, they taste just as bad. I miss the taste of real flesh.. perhaps we can convince the queen to go on a hunt soon.
But she doesn't want to cause trouble with the nearby settlements.. and we don't want to be susceptible to a Goblin attack with a raiding party gone..
We shall see... she'll be in a better mood when Calcryx returns..
The others: if you do anything else between the Goblin territory and the Kobold territory, describe what you do. Calcryx will follow Renny, but won't let anybody move behind him. The Kobold prisoners didn't leave the room where Zak was dancing, and they are not following behind (as far as you know). Moving carefully, stealthily and checking regularly if anybody was ahead, all the way back to the Dragon Cage room took about 15-20 minutes. If the group followed Spotty, I'm assuming they are now waiting in the empty room south of the fountain area, waiting for Spotty to let them know what is ahead.
Zak will wait for Renny and Calcryx to leave. Then, about 5 minutes (or long enough to be able to walk behind the dragon) after they left, Zak says to the Kobolds:
"Ok guys it's been a pleasure dancing for you! Have a great time in the dungeons!"
If anyone else is still around, Zak will say: "pssst, guys I think I noticed another door in the room that Calcyrx was in.... dooooooo you wanna check it out?!? I'm sure we can handle it *big grin*"
If no one wants to, he then starts to make his way back, and yes, ends up in the fountain room waiting for Spotty.
Martin does not wait around and follows Spotty at a distance. The whole matter of the dragon not having answered the question of the elderly cleric for him and his mind being bothered by the distraction.

Gwenant leads the way to the fountain room, armed but unconcerned as they pass through the stone halls once more. On reaching the room, she does level a glare at the closed door that they'd opted to leave behind. Curious, she once more takes a deep breath and focuses her divine senses upon the stone, and whatever passages or rooms might hide behind it.
Renny is of course waiting near the back of the group. She's got a stone with light on it but she's keeping it mostly covered by part of her cloak, using it sparingly to give her some light.
