Glancing to the dwarf again. "If you are willing to go into an arrangement as you spoke of for a set of full plate, a magical weapon, or a magical shield, I would pay back towards that item when I return from the citadel."
"Well the only things I really could use are either full plate armor, or a magical weapon." Leon says with a glance to his gear. "Not sure the Sunless Citadel will have enough treasure in it to repay for those sorts of things though..."
I have none of those things, the full plate armor is 1000 gp
If Dot is at the table, Trystan would have presented him, too.
"I can respect that. It's good to be proactive in your position. Better to prevent mischief, than fill your jail needlessly. My new companions and I will try to deal with some issues your village is facing, earn some pay, then, most likely, be on our separate ways. I come from Neverwinter. I don't know much about the rest, but Dot here and the rest seem like good people. Is there anything we can help you with while we're here?"

Zak enters the store with Tolroc (sorry for misspelling his name earlier!), and he greets the attractive (to humans I suppose... Zak is a bit more Orc than human, and prefers the Orc look...) storemaid. "Hi there I am Zak and this is Tolroc - pleasure to meet you! What do you have for sale!" and he extends his huge arm and hand out to shake her hand. He's excited to potentially spend his new 5g's that DoT gave him.
Then steps back, realizing he was way too aggressive in his greeting, and lets Tolroc ask the questions.
She says " Depends on what your looking for", " i have a manner of getting things I need" " She looks at Zak very flirtatiously.
Zak awkwardly backs away from her and looks at her very oddly. Has NO idea how to react to that. (he's actually not into humans whatsoever and so is almost disgusted by her and tries to hide it the best he can).
"Oh.. ok then... Corlot... er.. I mean... Tolcor... I mean TOLROC here I think has some questions for you!?" stuttering on his words like a buffoon and hoping the Halfling rescues him from this social disaster.

Once outside Leon will start looking for the other places. The shrine, the townhall, and the general store. he will stick his head in each one, looking for the others who were suppose to go and talk to people.
Once outside Nasaar will start looking for the other places. The shrine, the townhall, and the general store. he will stick his head in each one, looking for the others who were suppose to go and talk to people.
The first place you visit is the shrine. Ancient ruines make up this place for gossip. You see a small dwarf gnome female priest praying outside.
While waiting for the shopkeeper, Tolroc has been carefully examining some of the items for sale and has become lost in thought. Hearing the last bit of conversation between Zak and the shopkeeper, he focuses his attention on the here and now.
"Shy? Oh no, I haven't been shy since I was a toddler. My apologies I was perusing some of your wares and didn't realize you had spoken until a moment ago. The bit I did hear, sounded like you and Zak kave hit it off well," he says and gives Zak a wink. "A group of us out of towners are looking to set off and investigate the Sunless Citadel. The tavern keeper is offering a substantial reward for some apples from the citadel, and on a personal note, I would love to explore the place. He suggested that we speak to you and find out what you know of the citadel, the goblins, and these special apples. Will you please tell us what you know?" Tolroc with a bit of excitement and expectation.
He says "At the moment, I can't think of anything. However, if your here in a week or so we may have something for ya. We are trying to get this monster issue taken care of"
Trystan sighs: "Is it always monsters in the countryside? I'm sure we can look into it for the right reward. For now, do you know anything about the Sunless Citadel or those who investigated it previously? It would be good not to go in blindly."
Leaning into the table intently looking Trystan directly in the eyes with her cold faceless mask "What do your people like to do for fun? I recently learn about chess, I have not played it though."

She says " I am not sure why he told you to come here. I never get out and no one knows what that fortress was or is home to now. I have not heard of the fruit for sometime. I thought the goblins took their wares elsewhere. I can offer you items though for sale, I also have some rare items too" She points to a catalog. Anything for sale can be found in an items table in the PC Handbook.

He says " Well I am sure the city can pay ya upon bringing back what ever has taken over the fortress. Me and my men want to get in there and set up a new HQ"
Leaning into the table intently looking Trystan directly in the eyes with her cold faceless mask "What do your people like to do for fun? I recently learn about chess, I have not played it though."
OOC: Mask for reference
He says " I don't play" looking at you extremely weirded out

"Then I'll be off..." Leon bids farewell to the dwarf. He heads out and glances around to see if the others have finished asking questions yet.

Not seeing any of the group he will nod to the one praying and continue onward. Figuring someone had already finished up here.

Leon continues along, looking into the next of the buildings to see if he can spot anyone from those who were at his table earlier.
OOC: Yep, that mask would've definitely spooked Zak.
Ok, where else would you like to visit?
