honestly who cares? 2014 monk could use the help, and this is better than 2024 monk using 2014 dice which I can see becoming an issue somehow if they try to fix this
Bug Report: Paladin homebrew subclass is no longer giving character their oath spells. It was working at the time of me creating the subclass and a while after, but now they are not showing at all, even after going back in to make sure the spells are being granted in the class options.
So I've had some things in the support open for a while now, but I figured I'd put them here since I'm not getting much traction there.
1) Languages: According to the new rules, every character gets 3 languages, Common and 2 others.(PH, p 37). This is part of your Origin. D&D Beyond still has it tied to your Species, so if you choose a Legacy species you only get whatever you had from that old Species. So in my case, I selected Air Genasi, and was only able to select one extra language. I had to manually add a third one in.
2) Tools: If you go to page 120 in the PH, you will see that the tools all have weights associated with them. If you look at the book in D&D Beyond, those weights are missing. Seems like a pretty glaring omission.
3)Genie Warlock: I don't know if this is a wide ranging thing, but for the Genie Warlock, anything related to selecting the Genie type (in my case Djinn), is missing from my character sheet. This means that I am missing my Thunder Resistance and also my extra Thunder damage I do from Genie's Wrath. When I compare the character with the one from before I converted, those things were there.
The snippet for the Moon Druid's Circle Forms feature lists the Armor Class number with a + sign because the snippet code is set to "13+modifier:wis". It needs to be followed by "#unsigned" to remove the + sign.
Created a paladin with the new farmer background. Later changed it to custom background and the sheet doesn't update to reflect the change. Still shows the feat assigned by Farmer.
Didn't update the proficiencies or languages.
Did not give me the option to assign ability modifiers (didn't show up under background or ability tab) and still assigns ability score changes from the Farmer background I chose at that time.
Can you enable to a toggle to deactivate all 2024 PHB content from the character creator? That would be fantastic for everyone actually attempting to play DnD at the present time.
I am also finding that I can't add homebrew spells to characters that I make using the new 2024 rules. Really throwing a wrench in my excitement to update to the new book I just bought.

are you trying to add 2014 homebrew spells, or new ones? I've been able to build homebrew spells just fine and search them on spell lists. You may want to try re-tagging the classes that they are available for, and ensure that you target the 2024 classes.
If it is your own homebrew spell, you just have to add the new versions of the classes to the spell to make it show up. A pain to be sure, but there is a work around.

I had a little poke around the spells in the builder and didn't spot anything obvious to fix, but for some reason it didn't occur to me that the classes would be listed twice like that. That fixed the issue, so thanks!
Though in the classes list there is nothing to denote that one of them is legacy, they just both say the same thing. Would be nice if the legacy classes say that they are legacy in brackets or something.
Invocation Devil's Sight doesn't add Darkvision to the Senses box
Devil's Sight does not give you darkvision. it gives you something better than darkvision. devil's sight lets you see normally in the dark, while darkvision is still lightly obscured and only sees shades of grey in the dark. that being said, they should add devil's sight to the senses listing.

The unarmed attack blurb under Actions gives the formula for the DC (DC = 8 + Prof. Bonus + Str.) but doesn't auto-calculate it for you.
Rage of the Wilds still cannot make a choice.

Subclasses in mobile browser do not show "Level X: Subclass Feature" they just show "Subclass Feature". Only show up on desktop browser.

Where can we:
- Express our extreme displeasure at the 2024 changes (1/10, for sure)
- Request functionality on D&DB to disable/choose between 2014/2024 content
Thank you.
Have found a combination Paladin/Warlock that is miscalculating walking speed. No matter the race, it assigns the walking speed to 20.
You're not wearing Heavy Armor with a low STR per chance are you? That's caught me out in the past!
I can't access the Eldrich Knight Fighter subclass despite having purchased the books and having made Eldrich Knights in the past.
And upon further inspection, I can't access any subclasses from the Player's Handbook since the update.
