Hey I don't know if you are aware but the boomerang isn't adding the monk die to its attack and they don't have a weapon mastery prop is that by design. I noticed the same issue with yklwa's and sickles too. Its not the biggest deal but I would think it would be a easy fix with the new rules

Probably because those weapons aren't from the PHB so will not be updated to new PHB rules.

General Feats: Poisoner: Brew Poison benefit contains one semantic error and one possible rules oversight:
"Once applied, the poison retains its potency for 1 minute or until untilyou deal damage with the poisoned item, whichever is shorter."
The word "until" is repeated twice.
As written, the poison doesn't lose its potency if someone other than you deals damage with the poisoned item, which would mean that if you poison an ally's weapon the effect could be used multiple times from a single dose. This doesn't seem intentional.
The Flame Blade spell does not use the updated scaling of using a higher spell slots. The old version used to add a d6 every 2 levels, but the new versiom os supposed to add a d6 EVERY level with the new update.
Hey, I'm not sure what's going on, but for some reason when I'm building a Barbarian after the 2024 PHB came out, I can't access things like Path of the Zealot (which I've purchased) or any Homebrew Paths...what's happening?
When you make a 2024 class, you cannot use 2014 made homebrew. They have not said if this is going to be changed, or if it will need to be done manually. From what people can tell, you will need to do this manually. I have 79 of them to get through T_T
Are you saying we can't create a 2024 character, with a new 2024 PHB subclass and then multiclass to a different 2024 PHB class and select 2014 legacy subclass? If not, then it's not backwards compatible after all.
What about legacy spells that are in other books, like Booming Blade/Green-flame Blade from Tasha's, that haven't been updated in the 2024 PHB? Surely, those are usable by all appropriate 2024 AND 2014 caster characters.

The backwards compatibility part more so means that you can play a Legacy class with the new 2024 rules. You cant (at least on DnD Beyond) mix and match different class rules from 2024 and 2014 without making a Homebrew. You can still do this on pen and paper if you really wanted to though IDK if I'd recommend that personally.
They did say all their 3rd party content folks are working on getting their subclasses updated to the new rules so you can select those with 2024! Hopefully we get those soon.

You can, on DDB, pick a 2024 class/subclass, then multiclass into a 2024/2014 class/subclass, then also multiclass into a 2014 class/subclass.
It may not be encouraged, but you absolutely can. And the first two aren't even discouraged -- they've said explicitly you can use 2014 subclasses that haven't been updated with 2024 classes.

Zealot is reprinted in 2024 with updates, so the 2014 version is only usable with the 2014 version of the class. This is intended behavior.
On homebrew, the old and new classes are considered to be separate entities in the system, so all homebrew subclasses are going to have to be remade for 2024.
This is similar to what I'm trying to recreate from my existing campaign.
Level 5 Paladin (2024) Oath of the Watcher's (Tasha's) / Level 2 Rogue (to be Swashbuckler at 3rd - Xanathar's)
I can certainly start a 2024 PHB Paladin, choose the Oath of the Watcher's subclass from Tasha's, but the features don't add into the sheet. For example, the auto spells Watcher's get, doesn't appear on the sheet and I don't get enough spell choices to manually add them plus the spells I chose myself. The Fighting Style feat doesn't allow a drop-down to choose which style I want either.
So, a week on from the public release of the PHB 2024 and the 100% silence from WOTC/ Scalefast on when or if my book will ever be shipped, and despite repeatedly asking for an update, I've lost all patience and bought a new copy on Amazon, who I am reasonably certain will deliver it on time tomorrow.
Am pursuing WOTC / Scalefast for a refund - because this has gone beyond a farce. I want my money back.

Oh you're right! I thought that wasnt an option but it definitely is. So to answer BlackLegions concern you apparently still can (but I dont recommend it tho lol)
This is an issue with the Class features in the digital free rule; the class features do not list the level at which they are gained. This is annoying because a reader must continually refer back to the class table. Additionally, for subclass features the class table simply lists "Subclass feature" making it more difficult to determine which subclass feature is available at which character level.
Is is only an issue with the free rules online; the digital 2024 Players Handbook does list the levels.
The squire of Solomnia feet does not work with the 2024 fighter when I look at the unavailable feats in my character, it says I am lacking the fighter or paladin even though I’m playing a 2024 fighter. I think it does. The same thing with the paladin is only registering the 2014 versions as actually having the class.

I just want to be a 2024 Echo Knight and a 2014 Battlemaster.

Soooo - will the legacy Invocations be implemented or not?
And how about the current invocations - will they be implemented? Lessons of the First Ones, for instance, is simply just...not working at all.
I mean, I'm simply asking - are these things PLANNED to be fixed or not? Because otherwise, I have to figure out how to do it via homebrew.
Problem: When creating a 2024 Druid, I'm offered only the new Core subclasses (no Expanded, Legacy, or homebrew subclasses).
Basuc goal: I would like to have a 2024 Druid with Circle of Spores subclass.
Does your 2024 Druid character sheet have the Legacy and Expanded toggles on in the settings?
