It doesn't necessarily walk you step-by-step through the exact process of swapping a subclass spell, but it explains what just about everything does. And swapping out a single subclass spell will be relatively easy; all you need to do is use the subclass as a template, find where Alarm is granted, and swap it with Armor of Agathys.
Thanks. I've got it working now.
I was not aware you could homebrew sub-classes - and have copied clockwork sourceror and manually added in The Armour of Agythys.
I will be delighted whenever DDB get around to fully integrating Tasha's complete rule set into their platform becuase I am frankly puzzled. If it was so easy for me to add to the homebrewed subclass the spell I wanted what exactly is the hold-up in releasing clockwork magic as a fully functional sub-class option?
The same as how you can - technically - add a feat to get the fighter background interating with battle maneuvers, so why is it taking > 6 months to get it all working.
I can't help but feel there is something of a contradiction there.
I've gathered that DDB is contractually obligated to provide official WotC material as written, and sort-of nothing beyond that in terms of published "things", although they can provide the ability for us to make our own "things" to an extent. And they and us are limited by their current interface and backend, which also seem to have been initiated at a time when they weren't allowed to implement functionality beyond what was needed to create the then-current official items/feats/classes/etc.
So they've been able to provide a Martial Adept feat that allows picking 2 maneuvers. They have a Fighting Initiate feat that lets you pick 1 from a set of fighting styles. But their current interface/backend does not seem to allow a feat with a set of options where just 1 of the options also allows picking from another set of options. That's why they can't publish a fully-functional Fighting Initiate. We can jury-rig by homebrewing a feat based off of Martial Adept to hold that Superior Technique, but they can't publish the official content that way, since there isn't an official feat that provides 1 manuever; and either way, the system isn't able to enforce using that homebrew Superior Technique feat only when you have Fighting Initiate feat with the Superior Technique fighting style selected, so that's kinda on the honors system with your campaign.
...Yeah it's complicated. But that's why we have tools to let us manage as best we can until they can finish the new general system that will allow them to implement the official material "right", be more capable of handling what new official content throws at them down the line (witness Tasha's!) and also give us more flexibility to create new and interesting homebrews.

Is there a place where I can find a concise list of what has not been implemented yet? Or even all of what has been from Tasha's? The post toward the start of the thread hasn't been updated in months.

Just because it hasn’t been updated recently doesn’t mean it isn’t accurate. They have addressed all the “low hanging fruit” that was easy/quick to fix. The other stuff will take major rewrites of the code base and/or the development of new systems. This is true of the unfinished stuff from several books, so there is also a question of priorities, even before you add in priorities for site functioning that is separate from the “books,” like the combat tracker. I do know that progress is being made on a “generic feature system” that will help address some of the backlog (blessings from Theros, for example, and reportedly it is one—but not the only—prerequisite for sidekicks to be possible).
There is no thread or posting anywhere that lists all the unimplemented or non-working aspects for all the books. Most of the books that came out since DDB started have their own thread, but not all have a list of what hasn't been implemented yet, like this thread for Tasha's does. Stuff that was published before DDB came out has no listing at all, but likely has multiple people reporting it as a bug.
I work in IT as a software engineer so I don't need a metaphor to understand replacing a legacy system/sub-system - which I don't mean as harshly as it sounds - but I'm in the role of customer here and I am expressing my dissatisfaction at substandard products.
Whatever their issue is, whether it's staffing, middle tier, Legacy code or whatever really isn't my problem; it's been 6 months since I paid for a product and it doesn't work as it should.
If you work in IT as a software engineer, then you really should be exercising the empathy of "things never go as well as you think they should and never take as fast as customers think it should."
They *have* been working on it, as part of another project that has taken ages due to more factors being introduced by WotC with each new book, nevermind the previous system overhaul they had to do to implement Dragonmarks, amongst other features from books released the previous year.
I also work in IT, and I can tell you that paying customers want their products to work as soon as possible. I can also tell you i would be unemployed if i told my customers that I was "working on their problem" for a year, with no progress, no estimation of compleition, and no timeline.
I noticed that the "Superior Technique" fighting style in the Optional Features tab for Fighters doesn't have an option to pick which Battle Master Maneuver you want to pick.

Fighting Style - Superior Technique. Not functional. We don't currently have a sensible way of implementing the selection of maneuvers that wouldn't cause characters to become broken in the future. We're working on a solution for this known issue.
Having in an issue with a bard in one of my games.
They have the optional class features enabled in the home tab but in the class features nothing shows up. (Image below)
My character actually went and bought all the PHB spells 'cause they thought that was why the spells weren't showing up so quite a disappointing bug.
They have to own Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, or otherwise be in a campaign where the full book is being shared.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
Has this been the case since launch as I am seeing a lot of posts online from people who claim they can access these features without having purchased the book.
BTW, in the text of Tasha's (& in the website listing), the Lifewell Tattoo is categorized as "very rare," but in the listings in the iOS combined app, it says "rare." Probably just a mis-click on entry, but I was disappointed when creating a character for a 1-shot since "very rare" was 1 level too rare... 😾🤷♀️

Looks like Origin ASI doesn't work for the Kalashtar
It appears to be working for me once the feature is enabled
What exact issue are you seeing? Can you provide a link to an affected character?
Find my D&D Beyond articles here
Seem to work now.
Guess making a lot of change made the system hang a little
Have I missed an update on the AMS psionic spells issues?
Edit: *Please*. Apologies for my rudeness. Easy to forget manners on the internet.
(For some reason I'm reluctant to trawl through all the Dev updates)

It's very possible in those cases that they have Tasha's content being shared with them.
