I have a player who's playing a forge cleric and asked if his channel divinity, Artisan's Blessing, could be used to take a standard weapon and make it silvered. Now the players hand book says it costs 100 to silver a weapon. But that accounts for the silver and time needed to make a weapon silver. So according to the rules of the channel divinity, it should work as the player cant do or make anything more then 100gp. So I'd say its possible to do and it's not that broken seeing as players still have to pay for it. So I want other GMs options If this is a good call.

Seems fair to me. Silvered weapons only have a limited usefulness that is eventually outstripped by magic weapons, so this seems like an okay thing.
Well, there's some play in the way Artisan's Blessing is worded, but in the long run, it doesn't seem that you're worried, so it was a good call.
