I feel like I'm lacking some important context for these maps.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
No Important context needed. Just me trying my hand at world making and DMing

basic feedback. It's fine. But if you are planning a campaign, more topography is a good thing, a couple of mountains and swamps, with farmland and forests, all clearly marked. With roads and pathways visible. Also the bridge should have a town possible on both sides. As it's a bridge but has no valid reason to have been built.
You do have a point Sir/ma'am. Thank you for the feedback.

Not going to spend money on their tools, but I made a quick map to show what I mean. You want to fill the map with details kind of tell the story of the land.
I'd suggest having more detail. Put in regions and area names. Show a difference between forest and plains.
You also might want to put in "scatter". Unnamed features that subtly provide detail. What it is depends on scale. If it's fairly small, then it's just random inns, farms and houses. Larger scales might be hamlets or small villages, and so forth. Don't name them (in the map), it's there to give a sense of depth to the world.

That update looks a lot better, and it feels like it has stories to tell now.
5$ says you cant make a campaign out of it.
