Hello guys, I am a graphic designer, but a novice to D&D
I want to share my project of D&D GRID and maybe get some tips from you. Tools used: Adobe Illustrator, Google xD; Materials: Forex (1x1 mt) printed with a thickness of 5mm, transparent writable adhesive film;
Some images:
This is the graphic project.
I created the puzzle so that the table can be composed and transported in an easy manner. The table (1x1 mt) will be printed with the design that you can see, then it will be covered with transparent writable adhesive film. After that it will be cut into puzzle pieces.
All these operations will be made by a company specializing in printing and plastics, I do the graphics.
What would you do? Would you put some illustrations? Or would you do a cleaner graphics? What do you think?
With my group we have already used one of those mats of Chessex. Unfortunately, as has been perfect in its main use, it was not in terms of durability and usury.
By contrast the forex 5 mm and is a plastic rigid material that does not suffer falls and tearing. You can be rude. It also has an air much more solid and compact, and if necessary it can be divided to use a smaller portion.
I think that my idea might be a good solution :-)
ps: Sorry for bad english, it's not my first language :-(
It wasn't my intent to be rude, I was just asking about how this product would be better or if there were features that other similar products don't have.

I like the idea a lot and puzzle mats (instead of rollup ones) are definitely not unheard of! And definitely more compact. My recommendation is that you remove any pointed edges on the pieces. Any sharp edge like that will get bumped, damaged, and misshapen more easily, so round edges would be preferable

Don't worry bro! I did not seem aggressive sorry! Your question are lawful!
I was wrong to translate from my language. "You can be rude" This phrase must be read in a generic sense in my language, I did not think you were rude! xD

Yes! Thank you! Is an aspect I had not thought of. The edges may be a problem, I try to ask if the printer can do it or if I should do it myself! :-)

Hey, everyone, I was wondering if there was anyone on this website that was familiar with Homestuck, I am currently working on an adventure that will incorporate the game SBURB with dungeons and dragons, if anyone has anything to say about it, please reply!
(I'm currently working on the Character sheet, which looks bomb af right now.)

This is an interesting idea, but I don't see how it's more convenient than the similar mats that just roll up like a poster instead of being a puzzle.
