I noticed that there aren't really any threads for artwork monsters, DnD or not, so lets start one!
here's some art I made of a non-DnD monster/entity thing I made. the one on the left was made last month, and the one on the right I made last year.
and here's their original sketches!
If you look closely at the one on the right, you can see that I was not paying any attention during math class whatsoever the day I drew that. You can tell because it was done on lined paper. It was actually just a sketch to digital process, not too complicated.
The one on the right, however, was actually a long process that went like this: 1) original sketch 2) digitalize with shapes (no shading) 3) print out 4) trace outlines 5) unevenly shade in the traced version 6) upload image of traced version 7) digitalize traced version 8) repeat steps 3 and 4 9) make the black stuff dripping downwards via vertical shading going down 10) upload image of 2nd traced version 11) digitalize image of 2nd traced version 12) final digital editing (effects, blending, colors, touch-ups, etc.)
yeah. 12 steps to make that. However, it does work wonders; the uneven colors are the result of 1st traced and pencil-shaded version, not digitally made objects/shapes.
would anyone else like to share?
