I don't have any art, but this might provide an inspiration for you to make something.
I have homebrewed into my world a set of ancient Druid Staves that act like a magical focus and a weapon. They appear like spears, but rather than having metal spear points and handles, they have a chipped green (emerald, jade, green garnet, green bloodstone, chrysoprase, aventurine, serpentine, variscite, ekanite, gaspeite or turquois) gemstone for the spearpoint and green gemstone inlay along the handle in the form of a specific leaf. For example, there is a Holly Staff, a Great Oak Staff, a Tulip Poplar Staff, a Maple Staff, a Yew Staff, a walnut staff, an ask staff, a hickory staff, a chestnut staff, an elm staff, ... Basically there is only one of each type and the details are shrouded in mystery so that upon discovery the players will not know the nature of the power in the staff. I plan to get the player to tell me what the staff can do by listening to their plans and giving the staff the power to help them with something they already want to do.
So the staff is a great wooden shaft without knots and very clear grain. It has a great gem spearpoint fixed to the end of the staff in a forked recess and tied with rawhide. The length of the shaft has inlay of a specific leaf for the type of staff, and when possible the spearpoint also matches the staff type. The handle is made of fine leather at the appropriate length/height for the character. The bottom of the spear has a "foot" made from the same gem as the spearpoint. Generally the inlay gives off a feint light that is unnoticeable in a candlelit room, but in a real dark environment sheds dim light for 20 feet. A druid may wield this weapon as a (+?) quarterstaff or a (+?) spear with proficiency. It has up to 6 charges and recovers 1d4 charges each day. The specific qualities of each staff are up to the DM.

Demon Spine Weapon (whip), very rare (requires attunement)
This long, jagged spine was ripped from the fresh corpse of a demon. The boney discs are eternally slick with crimson ichor, and an abyssal flame flickers from within, where the spinal cord would be. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, and it deals an extra 1d6 fire damage to any target it hits. The demon spine has 7 charges, and it regains 1d6+1 expended charges after you complete a long rest.
Searing Laceration. When you attack a creature with this whip, you can expend one charge to make it a searing lash. If the attack hits, the creature is then marked with a searing laceration until the start of your next turn. Each time a lacerated creature is hit by an attack, it takes an extra 1d6 fire damage. If the creature is reduced to 0 hit points while it has a searing laceration, it erupts into an explosion of flame. Each creature within 5 feet of the exploding creature must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 fire damage.
Demonic Fortitude. As a bonus action while wielding the demon spine, you can expend two charges to gain resistance to fire and poison damage for 1 minute. Additionally, all poisons affecting you are neutralized when this property is used.
Curse. Each time you expend one or more charges from the whip, you have a 5% chance of becoming possessed by Bilvemoz, the demon whose spine you are wielding. The possession lasts until you complete a long rest.
If you become possessed, the incorporeal spirit of Bilvemoz will enter your body and compete for control of your impulses. Each time you make a moral decision or roll initiative, you must make a DC 16 Charisma saving throw or do what Bilvemoz desires. Bilvemoz has an Intelligence of 15, a Wisdom of 15, and a Charisma of 15, and perceives through your senses while possessing you. Bilvemoz communicates telepathically with you and can speak, read, and understand Abyssal, Infernal, and Common. Bilvemoz can use your mouth to speak with a deep, vicious snarl. Bilvemoz seeks to corrupt mortals, slay devils, and takes wicked glee in forcing you to enact evil deeds when the opportunity arises, but is bored by anything else.
Cruel punishment from one demon to another; the owner of this backbone was reduced to a mere tool of pain. --- {Uncommon Variant, "Dormant Demon Spine",available on our Patreon}

Woah, no wonder you haven’t posted in a while. This is awesome!
A chilling mist wafts from the blade of this dagger. The misty shiv has 3 charges, and regains all expended charges daily at dawn. As a bonus action you can expend one charge to cast the misty step spell from the dagger. Upon reappearing, the next attack you make with this dagger before the end of the turn deals an extra 1d6 cold damage on a hit.
The duchess sat on the plush leather bench seat of her carriage, her head resting against the window as she lazily watched the countryside roll by. The duke had long since given up any attempt at conversation when he realized she would rather sit quietly than make small talk. He contented himself with a platter of fine pastries while they rode in silence. Outside, the sky had grown overcast and a thick fog began obscuring the farm houses, fields and hedges, until it muddied into a hazy blur. The duchess yawned, and in the moment when her eyes were almost shut, she noticed something in the fog. A man, running full speed, directly towards her. She snapped out of her daze, fully alert, but the man had vanished. “Are you alright my lady?” “Yes, I- I thought I saw someone-” A shout rang out suddenly, and the carriage jerked to a halt. The duchess craned her neck to see what was happening. Confusion had broken out among the retinue. She turned to say “I can’t see anythi-”, but froze in mid sentence. Sitting in front of her was a man who had not been in the carriage but one second earlier, grinning coldly as she stared in shock. He slowly held a finger to his lips, in a silencing gesture. The duchess had no choice but to sit still, paralyzed with fear. The man casually removed a handkerchief from his front pocket and began cleaning the knife in his hand. Thick crimson blood came away to reveal a gleaming steel blade. He smiled, flicked the dagger through the air, and vanished. The duchess’ screaming eventually alerted her retinue to the duke’s body, slumped over his pastry tray, and the assassination that had just occurred beneath their noses

This magical sword is made out of your coagulated blood.
If you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack using the bloodblade, you can choose to immediately regain 1d6 hit points, or deal an extra 1d6 damage on your next hit with the bloodblade. Constructs, undead, and creatures without blood or an equivalent fluid, do not trigger this property. Only the creature who created the blade can use this property.
The ability to summon a bloodblade is a hemomantic process that can be learned by studying from a tome or teacher for 24 hours and a cost of 500 gp. Once you have learned the process, you can use an action to summon a bloodblade. When you summon the blade, you lose 2d6 hit points due to blood loss. You can choose to lose 3d6 hit points instead to gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with the blade. The bloodblade lasts 24 hours before it dissolves and is destroyed.
Hemomantic warriors can mingle the blood of their enemies with their own, utilizing their sanguine sorcery to rejuvenate themselves while dealing devastating wounds.

yep. can't wait to see what you make if you do
I don't have any art, but this might provide an inspiration for you to make something.
Cum catapultae proscriptae erunt tum soli proscript catapultas habebunt
Demon Spine
Weapon (whip), very rare (requires attunement)
Cruel punishment from one demon to another; the owner of this backbone was reduced to a mere tool of pain.

Woah, no wonder you haven’t posted in a while. This is awesome!
Misty Shiv
Weapon (dagger), rare (requires attunement)
“Are you alright my lady?”
“Yes, I- I thought I saw someone-”
A shout rang out suddenly, and the carriage jerked to a halt.

DUDE
Misty Shiv A.K.A. THE ULTIMATE ASSASSIN'S WEAPON
Hi, I am not a chest. I deny with 100% certainty that I am a chest. I can neither confirm nor deny what I am beyond that.
I used to portray Krathian, Q'ilbrith, Jim, Tara, Turin, Nathan, Tench, Finn, Alvin, and other characters in various taverns.
I also do homebrew, check out my Spells and Magic Items

I thought of an idea. What about a weapon that shot energy blasts (magic missile)
I got a Blink Dagger in a campaign once. It allowed me to use a bonus action to teleport me to it or it to me. I have no idea where its from.
This isn't actually a signature, just something I copy and paste onto the bottom of all my posts. Or is it? Yep, it is. Or is it..? I’m a hobbit, and the master cranial imploder of the "Oops, I Accidently Destroyed Someone's Brain" cult. Extended sig. I'm actually in Limbo, it says I'm in Mechanus because that's where I get my WiFi from. Please don't tell the modrons, they're still angry from the 'Spawning Stone' fiasco.
No connection to Dragonslayer8 other than knowing them in real life.
that's sorta like the one im thinking of. Its still cool though, just not the one im referencing.
I feel like I’ve heard it somewhere else, just not sure where…

Bloodblade
Weapon (any sword), uncommon

Gumnut Drake
Small dragon, unaligned
Gumnut drakes are arboreal omnivores that dwell in bloodwood groves, a type of tree with mystical communal sentience. These distantly draconic creatures were created from the scales of a red dragon and the sap from the bloodwood tree. The druidic ritual, fusing both plant and dragon, was devised to create a new breed of forest protectors that could not only withstand the heat of a wildfire, but thrive in it...
