Hello I'm sorry if this as been answered before but I couldn't find it and I can't search ony phone. But I am currently running a campaign and have made an NPC that is traveling with the party but I made him with a the character creator is there a way to add them into the campaign with out recreating the character?
Near the bottom of the Campaign page, there should be a button that is "Create Unassigned Character." I know if you use that to make the NPC, it will appear in the campaign. I'm not sure how to move a character already made to a campaign.

You don't have to recreate the character. On the campaign page, click the "Copy link" button near the invite link (upper right). Open a new browser tab and paste that link into the url bar. Hit return. You will be taken to a page where you can choose a character to add to the campaign.
I use the homebrew monster feature for all NPCs I want stats for, it means the players can’t see anything about the NPC and realistically you don’t need all the nuance and detail a character sheet gives you. In addition NPCs probably need different hit points and AC to make them less squishy, unless your players have a reason to use up resources like healing spells and potions on them.
I can understand that but I like using the character creator it's easy and in my opinion faster to use when creating hominoid NPC but I think I'll looking into it for future use

Yeah I was just hoping not to have to create the character again. Thanks though
