For some reason I thought the players would need to be level 20 to play this and it still be difficult. And that's what I told my players last Thursday. I have now discovered that 5 level 20 characters would wreck this dungeon lol SO my question is how to upscale this. Obviously increasing the damage taken from traps, swapping monsters for ones with higher CR, and increasing the DC for saves and checks, but I'm more wanting specifics. I have no experience DMing level 20's so I don't know what these should be in order to still be challenging. And it doesn't help that all the adventure says is for "high level adventurers" so I don't even really know what level the players would be to run it as is.
My goal is to definitely have them dead before the halfway point if that's any reference. I want this to be something they run maybe once or twice a year until maybe 3 years down the line they finally beat it or something lol
