I’m working on a Norse mythology/viking style campaign. I’ve done some research and can’t find a lot of tips on dnd for something like this. I was wondering if anyone had any tips and resources for something like this. Something to make building the world a bit easier wether than having to semi-homebrew it all myself.
I made a whole different set of giant rules based on Norse mythology, called Jotuns, who are aligned to the various planes

How did you change the rules, or what rules did you make? If you don’t mind.
not at all.
I broke the ordning over my knee, no more storm king.
giants can live anywhere, and where they live determines their abilities.
by living in places of Planar power(or other planes themselves) giants can gain abilities and personality matching that plane
most giants live or are aligned to the inner planes. giants aligned to the outer planes are rarer, less humanoid, more powerful, and more dogmatic
I changed their name to Jotun
for you, for you, I recommend an Ysgard aligned Jotun(or frostfell, or the plane of fire, or the feywild)

Well, Icewind Dale is fairly Norse-inspired, as is the whole treatment of fire and frost giants in D&D.
