you read the title, I'm following a suggestion buried in the DMG and putting my players in wonderland. but the what is it, 15? wonderlandians(?) in the original story aren't cutting it. lets see if we cant make some more. anything else helps as well

Race: Not Human. that's for sure
Class: Godless monster in human form bent on extending their natural life to unnatural extremes/general of the goose horde
Alignment: Lawful Evil
fun fact: i gain more power the more you post on my forum threads. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Are you talking about Alice in Wonderland - Wonderland? What is the plot you will use? Just the same escape plot? There is honestly probably enough in the original story for a short RP-focused campaign.
basically, its an intrigue campaign. the ruler of their kingdom has sent the party to broker a trade agreement with wonderland, and the PCs have to navigate wonderlnad's crazy politiacl structure and not go insane, becuause the land wants to add more inhabitants, so it drives outsiders insane so they transform into wonderlandians

For political intrigue, you probably want to add more NPC to make Wonderland more coherent. Things like a baker (Paddy Cake?) who makes and sells pastries to the MadHatter, at least one hunter-gatherer (perhaps based on "a Hunting we will go", or Robin hood).
Or steal stuff from other children's stories/rhymes they tend to be pretty surreal:
there could be a depressed/suicidal Humpty Dumpty
Mary from "Mary had a little lamb" or Little Bo Peep looking for her lost black sheep
a mouse clock-maker based on Hickory Dikory Dock
the cat with a fiddle / jumping cow from Hey Diddle Diddle
Jack & Jill who need a pail of water from the top of a mountain (or trapped like Sisyphus trying to get water from up the hill)
Old MacDonald's Farm - perhaps mix in some Animal Farm for more political themes, or having him chasing off Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater.
a narcopletic Brother John
Paddy Wack, and old man trinket maker/seller
A mine staffed by human-sized ants (Ants go marching)
A talking dog named Bingo
A set of quadruplets called Eenie, Meanie, Minie, and Moe who are hunting a tiger.
a Kookaburra that follows them around laughing at them
Old Mother Hubbard
A bridge filled with people enchanted to be dancing endlessly (Sur the Pont D'avignon)

There are allot in lewis carols poems and most are free to access.
The hunting of the snark has a whole ship crew with a barrister and banker ect.. https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/43909/the-hunting-of-the-snark
You could have the crew of the snark hunt be a trading ship effected by the curse and they can also offer services.
Phantasmagoria has a bunch of ghosts https://www.gutenberg.org/files/651/651-h/651-h.htm
They could be a source of information
