Hey y'all, the D&D club at my school is coming up, and I need ideas for my campaign. I already have the basic idea for the first story arc/event, and a wireframe BBEG. I just need ideas for literally everything else. It will be starting at either level 3 or level 5 (I've yet to decide)
Inciting Incident
An accident in an Izzet lab causes chaos in the surrounding neighborhood, and the party is sent by the Azorius, Boros, or other "Righteous" guild to deal with it. While there, the party will have to deal with unstable Galvanice Weirds, and they will have to venture into the wrecked Izzet lab (A 3-4 room mini dungeon) to shut off the malfunctioning machine that creates the weirds. They fight off a Blistercoil weird or two as a boss and shut off the machine. In the lab, they find some evidence of foul play, a wrench or something jammed into the machine, but not enough to call for a full investigation.
Leading up to the Climax
This is the part I'm really shaky about. The idea is that more accidents have happened, with more evidence of foul play. the party is sent to question some suspects from a more "Sinister" clan (Orzhov, Grull, etc.) and find that one of them has escaped the interrogation room. [Big chase scene] and then they catch them, but he or she has a weapon and goes to attack! one boss fight later, they recapture them and question them, where they are revealed to have been put up to the sabotages by the BBEG, a goblin from the Izzet league.
Climax
The party locates a hidden lab, and listen's to the villain's monolougue. (start a war between the guilds, conquer the city, yadda yadda) then the party has to fight him before he uses his superweapon (Big robot, giant laser, something like that). the end!
What I Still Need
A name, clan, and stat block for the villain in the chase scene,
A name and stat block for the BBEG (I'm thinking an Archmage)
An idea for what the superweapon should be, and
What clan the party should belong to (I don't intend to let them choose, and they'll probably all be from the same one)
Thanks in advance, y'all!

I'm just your everyday dungeon master. Ignore that jar full of souls. And those bones in the corner are just props, don't worry. I'm definitely NOT a lich. Definitely.
Yes, I like beholders. Yes, I curated an exquisite personality for commoner #2864. Yes, my catchphrase is "are you sure?"
The Boros is probably your best bet for a player guild, since as a Chaotic Good organization, they probably have the most diverse assortment of personalities while still being good-aligned (while the straight-laced Azirious are heavily regulation-based and not "cool".
That said, players are probably going to want to choose their own guild to go with their own character's unique personality and background, and a party based around inter-guild cooperation would play well off of your BBEG's plan to sew discord between the guilds.
Unless everyone is cool playing the same guild, but I would clarify that during session 0 if that's how you want your players to create their characters.

Don't touch the Jar
I wrote several short Ravnica adventures which are currently Electrum Bestsellers on DMsGuild and which I think could be useful to you.
This is located at an Izzet facility:
https://www.dmsguild.com/it/product/266172/ravnica-the-raiders-of-the-lost-relic
This could be used for the 'more sinister guild' phase:
https://www.dmsguild.com/it/product/270601/ravnica-rescue-mission
The final lab could be this one:
https://www.dmsguild.com/it/product/274625/ravnica-the-laboratory-of-dr-roalesk
They are available as a cheap bundle as well, with the other ones usable as side quests if needed.
