Can anyone explain to me the wording of the infusions. For instance I have a player that wants to run this class at 5th lvl. At that level it shows two infusion slots and also has "artificer choice for infusions 4 choices". They added a bag of holding, boots of winding, +1 wep and armor.do they only receive two of these at a time at that lvl or would they receive all four? Also if they choose the wep or armor one does it cap at a +1 or does it boost the item to a +2 and do you just customize the item to reflect the +1 or 2 if they choose that. Thanks in advance, the class looks like it can be fun but confusing on the wording so far.
At 5th level the table shows that the Artificer Infusions Known: 4 and Infused Items: 2. This works exactly how you would think - the player can select up to 4 infusions that their character knows. At any one time, following the rules for Infusions, the character can have 2 infused items in existence.
If they choose the armor or weapon, it works as stated, "A creature gains a +1 bonus to Armor Class while wearing (armor) or wielding (shield) the infused item. The bonus increases to +2 when you reach 12th level in this class." also it is worth noting the first line of the Infuse Item feature, "At 2nd level, you gain the ability to imbue mundane items with certain magical infusions." - this means that the Artificer cannot use their infusion to boost an existing magic item.
If the Artificer, for example, chooses to use their Enhanced Weapon infusion on a Spear, then it's easiest for them to just go ahead and add a +1 Spear to their equipment to represent that and remove it when they no longer have it.

also, at 5th level, they know 4 infusions, but can only have 2 active at a time. If they infuse a 3rd item, the oldest drops off.
Okay thank you guys so much another set of eyes helped
