So I plan to pit my party against each other by making them roll a CON save, the lowest two rolls out of the 4 players will view the other two as hostile and then be forced to fight each other. When the battle ends the two that rolled low will wake up facedown on the ground and realize the whole battle just took place in their heads..
Just for clarification purposes, is this technically a "Charm"? Some of the party members have advantage against being Charmed. Or is there something else I'm over looking that the party might be able to get out of this?
If the battle takes place in their heads, maybe it should be a Wisdom save.
No, this doesn’t have to be a charm effect. Being fooled by an illusion doesn’t require you to be charmed.
But they’re both going to live in the same illusion? And it ends when one is knocked out? Or do they get to make new saves whenever they take damage or something?
It only really classifies as a "charm" if it bestows the charmed condition. But yeah, magic that fools people often requires a Wisdom saving throw instead of a Constitution saving throw. If it's an illusion, however, it would most likely require an Intelligence saving throw, a la phantasmal force.

Sure, that could be considered a charm of sorts.
EDIT: If you are looking to get around that, maybe make it an illusion?
