I don't know if this will be helpful but I wish I could have found something like it for myself. Mine was homebrewed for Waterdeep but it can easily be altered. It contains more than 60 shops and businesses with race and names of the primary workers. It also lists shop types, names, merchandise/purpose, prices, and weights. Some things I had to estimate myself because I couldn't find exact prices and weights.
I hope it can be useful. There will inevitably be errors but I put a ton of work into it and aim at continuing to perfect it. Switching from word to google docs also made it much less pretty. Thanks so much!
i'd add mithral bars and adamantine bars - its waterdeep, everything is for sale. Adamantine is 100 gp / lb. (waterdeep dragon heist) and mithral is 50 gp / lb (DMM). (way less than I would have guessed - DMM also has mithral ore costing 25 gp for 10 lbs. - cheaper because its not refined I'd guess)
also need various size diamonds (50 gp, 500 gp, 5,000 gp).
personally, i think 5 gp to make your armor castoff/gleaming/etc is too cheap because it converts it from mundane to magical - bestowing upon it all the benefits of magic armor.
also, to throw in some lore, i'd change thunder duck's name to something with the word Phylund in it (Phylund's House of Critters...or something). House Phylund -> The source of their wealth is monsters, both providing monster-hunting expeditions and just selling them. Add more pets like flying snake (sought by hunters), falcons, etc.
on that note, if you look on page 13 of WDDH, you could add family names to a few of your stores as they line up with sources of wealth - and to go way deeper, if you happen to have access to "Waterdeep and the North", look at the section where it discusses the noble families to match up more stores and add even more depth and life to your list.
Although a necro, this is a perfect framework for what I needed! Thank you for doing this! *Creating a list of shops for the players to randomly walk by when they go through Sharn to help with emersion... and avoid saying "blacksmith shop" 50x in a row

This is a great resource, and I thank you for making this. I don't have time to look over this all today, but I definitely will use this. +1 from me.

i'd add spiked armor
