I think one of the big things to consider is how indebted to the 'heroes' is this city or its lords. Have they done some amazing things or merely taken out the trash in their adventures. Do they know secrets that could ruin anyone, do they have leverage?
If they are still low man on the totem pole then public trial, and if not execution then something like a Geas to essentially go die fighting in some far off war. Maybe they have done enough good that the lord is loathe to turn their back on all that and gives them the lesser sentence of banishment from the lands under his control. Maybe you burned this bridge but you are still seen as valuable tools, and the lord still has uses for the group but rewards them less for their efforts. Or perhaps another noble says he will take responsibility and pay a large fine, after which he starts sending the group on assassinations of foreign dignitaries, or something fun but probably sinister. Most kingdoms need a 'Hound' or a 'Mountain' to deal with some more unsavory details. They can become that group, respected but not well liked even hated by the common folk.

"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."
In an evil campaign, be ready for any NPC to be killed at any time. That being said, maybe don't exactly have them doing good deeds for the kingdom. This seems like a good start to an evil story arc if you ask me. Have "good guys" come after them, etc

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
Evil campaign... seems like they are pretty much in character. What did you expect them to do? :P
I liked the one comment above about possibly having an Evil lord take them in and now they owe him a big favor and must do what he/she asks or the truths will be revealed. The Evil Lord can also be trying to take over the kingdom. And who knows, your players will probably end up killing him/her too when they get the chance.
I never really played/DM'd an evil campaign so I'm not sure if I can help much... Anyways, Good Luck! :D
the party could flee the kingdom or if there my players more likely kill the lord and take over the kingdom
