I apologize if this has been posted elsewhere, my search threads didn't have any luck finding anything.
What I'm looking for is a high CR warlock NPC. The highest variant I've been able to locate so far is a Hexblade wielder from XGE but I'm looking more for a straight up warlock. Ideally CR 18+ because it's a high level campaign. Are there any published warlocks that can be found in the encounter creator? Thank you!
Blue Abishai is CR17 with 13th level Wizard spell casting, switch the spell casting to Warlock pact spell slots and throw in some invocations and you have a pretty nasty Warlock (Fiend/Tiamat patron but could also be rewaorked into a Dragonborn celestial warlock of Bahamut)
or you have the Drow Arachnomancer, its CR13 and has 16th level Warlock spell casting but you could beef it up to 20th level spell casting (Fiend/Lolth patron)
or Star Spawn Larva Mage, CR16 and has a few legendary actions. Thow in some of the other star spwan for that GOO cult (Great Old One Patron)
From the Monster Manual:
You could reflavour the Death Knight into a Hexblade just swap its spell list to a 19th level Warlock but keep the extra abilities for flavour
Your basic problem is that no PC build is likely to be CR 18, for the simple reason that a CR 18 is supposed to be a challenge for multiple level 18 PCs. A archmage is a level 18 caster but only CR 12, and other classes are similar.
Thank you all for your assistance though I never mentioned wanting a PC, I only mentioned the Hexblade because that was the highest level warlock type creature I could find ;) I'm looking for a straight warlock NPC with a high CR. I'll look into reworking the Abishi, I just wish there were something already published so I could use the encounter builder with it.

I would probably just take one of the high CR Humanoid or Undead casters and port their stats into a Warlock class sheet in the character builder.

There isnt any straight warlock NPC with such a high CR.
So you have to reskin a monster. For a very high CR you could use a Drow Matron Mother as a template.
