pretty much the title. I ve recently started playing with my friends (started with Mines of Phandelver) and we re having so much fun, we decided to make it a weekly game. Currently we re all having hollidays though and are advancing MUCH faster in the story then I thought. It´s the "Army of the Damned" campaign (free from Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/comments/3c3vqe/army_of_the_damned_my_free_dd_adventure_set_in/). Right now we re at Part 3, starting at page 25. Since I am new to DMing I just really don´t know how to run this part (in terms to: how do I deal the damage? How do I keep it challenging enough? How can I run an entire horde...how would they react to the city's barricades that my players built up?) or how to keep it interesting for all of them (their tactics include separating from each other). I am also scared our mage is gonna face an untimely death, since she decided to save her money and not buy any armour.
Any and all tips, hints and advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much

Hey ^^/
I am an 18yo/ f from Bavaria, Germany. I´ld love to play some games as a PC (preferably Paladin or Cleric), since I am the DM in my rl group. I ld be super happy if we could play or just chat about any nerdy topic :3 nice to meet you!
I'm not a new DM, so I can't help with much. However, if you don't want to kill the mage, the stronger characters (paladin or fighter) will probably be in front, so you can focus attacks on them. Mages can't cast spells in armor they aren't proficient in, so it probably was a normal choice not to buy armor. If you think they're going to be killed, don't attack them once they're knocked down, and they'll have a high chance of living. You should be fine with the mage.
Hey, thanks for clicking :3

What the AC and HP of barricades ? Possible make mobs of monsters and do their average damage.
