So I'm thinking I'm out of luck with what I want to be able to do, but thought I would try and ask anyways.
First question, I would like to make a homebrew Bladed Bow, specifically a double bladed one. I selected Double-Bladed Scimitar as the Base Weapon which gives the character sheet the option to roll 2d4, but I don't know how to get the Longbow's 1d8 or the Double-Bladed Scimitar's 1d4 to show up on the character sheet. (I assume I can't.) Even if I select the modifier as a Ranged Weapon Attack - Pierce, it still doesn't recognize it. So if not, are there any good alternatives? I could set the weapon to base weapon Longbow and have the weapon use the finesse property as Double-Bladed Scimitar, so it would just do 1d8 no matter how the weapon is used (just ignoring the 2d4 for the 1d8), however the 1d4 for the Double-Bladed Scimitar still doesn't show as a bonus action.
Second question, I would like to make a homebrew item that grants a natural weapon similar to a claw, fang, and/or tail. I also can't get a natural weapon to appear on the character sheet in this way, even if I change the modifier to natural weapon.
1: If you want to build a ranged and melee weapon, I would recommend using the spear. It is versatile, meaning that damage changes depending on how you hold it. It also has a thrown range. Give the spear the "finesse" trait, and change the d6 to a d4. Then, increase the "thrown" range to that of the longbow.
2: A bladed bow wouldn't use a double bladed scimitar for damage. You are making a game breaking weapon. It would be too powerful, and it doesn't make sense how you would attack that affectively. Use a d8 for the longbow (blades wouldn't affect the damage of the bow itself) and use a d4 for the blades (there is no good reason why a bow with knives on it would be more affective of a melee weapon than a shortsword, much less a two handed katana.) A two handed moderate damage melee weapon is powerful enough to be effective in close range, in addition to effective in long range. You aren't making a medium or taking the best of both. You are trying to make a dex based super weapon at any range, and the ability to switch to melee whenever you want is already a huge advantage.

1) It is an interesting idea, although it doesn't work well with bracers of archery and Archery Fighting Style; issue I can't seem to fix.
2) Here is the image to give the idea of easily transferring from a Legolas combat style, to a Darth Maul combat style.

Thanks.
Here is my advice:
