I've had this class as a work in progress for the last couple of years. I completed version 3 last night (following a finished playtest with version 2) and wanted to present the new version to the DDB community. There were numerous core changes between version 2 and 3, so I'm hoping they come across as I intend them. ;)
The Outlaw is a Charisma-based martial class based on stories like the Scarlet Pimpernel, Robin Hood, The Three Musketeers and The Princess Bride. The class is based around having a well of points to spend on different maneuvers, which you receive from the class and from your archetype. Think of these like a mix between the Battle Master's superiority, and the Monk's ki, with a lot more flair.
The archetypes provided are:
Dread Pirate, who focus on melee attacks, improvised weapons, and Intimidation.
Highwayman, who get some features to help their allies, and use allies to help themselves. In addition they gain some special benefits for using a mount.
Musketeer, who is focused on ranged attacks.
Pimpernel, who is your masked crusader, and performs 'heroic' actions, and gets buffs to Deception.
If you take a look and have any thoughts please please please share them here, or send me a PM! I would absolutely love to hear anything you guys think, and any constructive or mechanic things that you see for fixes/adjustments. This is still certainly a work in progress, and I imagine I still have a few reiterations to do before I begin designing and commissioning artwork.
Give me your thoughts, give me your feedback, give me your construction! Thank you~
Edit: Via feedback elsewhere I've made a few adjustments that should be live:
Dread Pirate no longer has a choice between different vehicle proficiencies, gains waterborne vehicle proficiency.
Minor typo/formatting errors fixed (let me know if you find more!)
Added a notation to archetype maneuvers that they do not count against your 'maneuvers known' so that it eliminates any confusion over the 'max number' you get.
Quick Draw and Ricochet have adjusted wordings. Quick Draw gained a new option for spending additional points, as well.
Came to the homebrew section to look for inspiration for an outlaw class I wanted to make for my world I am creating and found this and it is 100% exactly what I was envisioning.

I love this. I hope to use Highwayman as a general type for Robin Hood's Merry Men in a campaign I'm planning.
Thanks so much! Let me know if you have any notes or feedback that comes up when using it. Hope you enjoy!
What would someone need to multiclass into this class?
