Sorry for the delay. I was preoccupied for the past few days and will try to catch up on the thread. Nothic2SeeHere, I would agree with MilestoGo that an adventure is more fit for an Inspirational Category. Now, I havent looked at it yet, but there may be aspects from it (monsters, magic items, or traps) that could be used for the category "a la carte"

Okay, I think I have caught up on the submissions. Double check that things have been updated to each of your liking and that the links lead to the correct places. Thanks

The 6th level feature is designed to be a ribbon feature as the real good thing this subclass gives at 6th level is the **Find Greater Steed** spell for use as an Apocalyptic Harbinger. Another note is that the 11th level feature giving critical hits to 19's and the nat 20 benefits to 19s to pact of the blade is to keep Pact of The Blade having a similar chance to critical hit to higher level Eldritch Blast. Also, due to just how massive the difference in power between the warlock subclasses is, I tried making it at around the strength of a non-multiclassed Hexblade, pretty strong but definitely not the strongest single class warlock subclass. Additionally I did design this subclass in mind when it comes to multiclassing. Basically every feature scales off of warlock level to avoid this being a too front loaded multiclass as you do already get a summonable steed friend.
Edit: It's also in theme because it can summon a steed boi with it's 1st level feature, perfect for any speedy race!
I like the concept but I agree with the other feedback you got. I would definitely streamline things and also make sure that your naming convention fits with the style of other subclasses. So all warlock subclasses point to some kind of entity that bestows their power. So are the four horsemen themselves your patron or is there another entity above them that sends out the mounts to you?
Personally, I would remove the pact bonuses. For one it just adds a ton of text and at a glance you want people to be able to digest everything the subclass gives them quickly.
I would make the casting of find steed free or not have it use the spell at all, Warlocks only have 2 spell slots for most of their careers, so having the main feature cost a spell slot nerfs the class really hard. I'd also use the language of "you can't use this feature again until you complete a short or long rest." Just to be consistent with the language of all the other subclasses.
Also, you are going to a lot of lengths to make the mounts almost invincible which could actually reduce the fun of it. I would add in a different language that lets you get your mount back easily if anything happens to it.
Seems like we are rolling along well here. There are about 2 weeks left to get submissions in, so make sure to work on whatever it is you have been playing around with for the competition. So far we have six submissions for the DM category, five for the PC category, and zero for the Inspirational Option, so there is still plenty of room for more additions!

Man life has been so crazy, I have two abilities for my subclass mapped out. I need 2 more and I know what I want the capstone to be. I'm gonna post what I have so far tonight and try to get some feedback. I will get it in before the deadline I promise!
The Cloudweaver Ranger, a ranger specializing in battlefield control and utility with a little splash of combat advantage. I need some help with an 11th level feature. Also, I think I may just update the statblock with new features at every level instead of the format I have now.
I like it. Its carry/attach abilities all feel like a unique player mobility option. Just a few notes
1) Given the unique nature of its mobility options, I dont know that you can technically call it a "cloud mount" since it doesnt use mount mechanics
2) It isnt stated how you actually summon the cloud. Do you use an action, bonus action, or otherwise? How many times can you summon it?
3) I feel like enemies should have some method of dispersing the cloud permanently. Right now, you get a cloud that helps you and your teammates in numerous ways for no apparent cost, and the best an enemy can hope to do is disperse it for less than a round if they have access to wind/explosion spells.
4) The recall ability seems a little weird because it is listed under the cloud's reactions in the stat block, but actually uses your reaction. This feature might need to be moved outside of the stat block
This is an excellent and unique idea, and I look forward to how it fully turns out. Please keep me updated if you publish a new version so I can update the link

There is one week remaining in the competition. There are still no submissions for the inspirational option, so if you can get something in you might be able to win that category unopposed.

I'm working on an adventure, I will probably get it in the day or so before the competition ends, but I'm close to being done now.

I'm working on my adventure, I'll probably have it ready in a week or two but it may take a little longer.
I am terrible at writing adventures, so that's why it's taking so long.

That sounds really cool. I’ve never written a whole adventure completely on my own.

(I'm not submitting this yet as it is not done)
Also need help with the language of the Carry ability and I guess the other features as well.
edit - Oof, and the rescue ability should include the cloud moving to that creatures space.
Maybe the cloud can summon elemental effects like rain and snow and lightning?

Ooooohhh, weather effects at level 11! I like that idea
Could make it hail or lightning so they can do cold or lightning damage (chosen when the ability is activated) each turn, similar to call lightning.

Would a non-magical item (with description and a little lore) work as an inspirational option?

I think that would be fine as long as the lore plays into the theme
