So a bit of a backstory here; one of my PC's backstory is that his dwarvan clan was killed off in a dragon battle many year ago. He is the sole survivor of the clan. The clan was well known for their blacksmithing skills and abilities, but he was more for using those weapons in combat (he is a barbarian). He would rather be out in nature protecting the clan than sitting in a forge. So far unbeknownst to him he has collected three pieces of three different weapons that were previously made by his clan. The goal is to get him to try to forge "one last time" in order to put these three different items together to make one badass legendary weapon (with the help of an inventor NPC). This will be the weapon in general, it has the handle of a giant mace, the hammer of a Warhammer and the axe head of a great axe. What do you think of this item:
A large golden greataxe with a hammer on the end of it. This weapon was forged with the blood of one who calls themselves "The Blood-Forges." Carved with gold, iron, and steel this giant weapon is made for brutal attacks and heavy sieging. Runes carved on the hammer and axe portion seem to have special properties once activated.
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. It has the following additional properties:
Siege Weapon. You deal double damage to structures and objects.
Blood-Forged Anger. Immediately after initiative is rolled, you may choose to move up to your full movement in one direction and make a weapon attack with Golden Ravager using your reaction
Siege Charge. On your turn if you move 20 feet or more in the same direction before making a weapon attack with the hammer, it triples in size and you deal an additional 3d8 bludgeoning damage on that attack. A creature hit by this feature must make a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be knocked back 5 feet and fall prone.
Barrier Breaker. You can use this weapon to strike down magical barriers. Three times per day you may swing the weapon hitting a magical barrier and on impact the weapon casts dispel magic at 5th level. If the barrier is cast above 5th level you can roll an ability check using your strength modifier. The DC is 10 + the barrier's spell level. On a successful check the barrier is shattered.
The siege charge feels a bit too Looney Tunes. Also, the definition of a "magical barrier" isn't really defined- maybe just make it so that it can cast dispel magic normally, without a poorly defined prerequisite. Other than that, all of the abilities seem very cool. I like it!

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

How would you change it then so that it was less Looney Tunes, but still get the same effect? The premise of the weapon is that it is the magical pieces of three different weapons so each weapon adds a bit of magic to it. The size thing was so that it can show that they are working in conjunction with one another
Maybe while you're walking the 20 feet, the weapon could be dragged along the ground to connect with the earth, giving its next hit a little extra oomph. Perhaps this could make it do force or radiant damage instead of bludgeoning. I can't really think of much besides that.

Oh that is certainly interesting
