When creating a race, you can make layered dependencies via options. For instance, I have a race that gives a static base of abilities and on character creation and additional abilities depending on which culture the player chooses, and which role in that culture they then choose. This requires three layers of dependencies. Options within options within options. But it all works flawlessly in the character builder.
Unfortunately, the feat builder is far less robust. There are only static choices for combinations of ability bonuses. Say you want to have a race that offers a choice between a +1 to Strength, Dexterity or Charisma, you can't do that. I was hoping that there would be a similar way to create dependencies but that's not an option either.
So has anyone figured out a workaround for this? I can make it so you get a choice of any stat, but I'd much prefer it to be restricted.

The way I understand it is you want to create a Feat that gives you a choice of +1 to Str, Dex, OR Cha. The way I would do this, is the same way they do Resilient. They've made one Resilient feat for each ability score. Meaning there are six. Resilient (Strength), Resilient (Dexterity), and Resilient (Constitution), etc. An easy way to do it is create your "Feat (Strength)" then duplicate it, change the name and change the bonus, that way it keeps whatever other bonuses you want the feat to have.
