So, this is a follow up on my topic on chemical warfare.
I had the idea of using the disease rules for some poisons, except that they can be cured by magic that cure poison instead of effects that cure disease.
Which lead me to think about more modern sicknesses. What would be the effects of radiation poisoning? What kind of nasty sicknesses could be stolen from a P4 lab and infect the PCs? Mixing magic and scientific knowledge could produce interesting results, such as a radiation spell, or something like the Shadow Plague or the Necroa Virus from Plague Inc... Preventing an early outbreak from a technomagical plague from becoming a global pandemic could make a very interesting adventure...
In less cataclysmic events, people have been creative with booby traps... What is the DC for finding an improvised mine that shoots a bullet straight in your foot when you step on it? A rigged shotgun? What skill do you use to spot an IED or a car bomb?
What kind of new tool proficiencies could come around?
Civilian personal vehicles for cars, motorbikes or bicycles, heavy civilian vehicles for buses, trucks and construction vehicles, tracked combat vehicles for military vehicles that use tracks, Helicopters for helicopters, would there be a separation between fighter jets and everything else, and what about drones? Are drones a separate proficiency? Computers are an obvious and useful proficiency, so are Explosives, and I probably missed a lot of things...
Well radiation poisioning is nasty business. Since magic is part of the world it could be easier to "Cure" the radiation but I would probably put in a system that magic can only help so much and the rest could have a seperate system in play. Like for a cheap example you can take a page out of the levels of exhaustion and make levels of radiation. Magic would only cure a set amount of levels but not fully get rid of it without extra help being involved. As far as spells go that's all up to you on how you want radiation to work and then you need to come up with the means for the caster to produce radiation IE material item or verbal lol.
I wouldn't add proficiencies to all vihacles since some are just basic modes of transportation similar to horses. I would however have a proficiency that would govern the driver while under pressure to see how well they are able to drive and up the roll depending on how fast and how hard the turn is.
You could treat drones like a wizard familiar that can fly to make things easier to comprehend. I'm not entirely sure how tech advanced you want your world but i am assuming that it's just as tech as ours right now irl.
I would first use a players passive perception to see if they would already spot the traps you have suggested and if they don't well... hey he didn't roll perception to check for traps so.. BOOM! lol. Oh, maybe you can create an item or feat that can detect certain traps such as mines and whatnot.

There is a spell that sounds like this: Sickening Radiance and its the exhaustion effects that really made it dangerous. So I would start there as a model, as it looks like a dirty bomb to me.

Starfinder has rules for these sorts of things that I found useful.
