@DM the 12 would not hit but the attack 20 damage 15 would and it does show on my side. If it gets another attack, the Attack 12 might be that? Happy to be fair with that first roll.
Sila speaks out as soon as she realizes, "It seems resistant to both of my styles of strikes. Try others if you have them!"(Trying to relay the resistance to piercing and bludgeoning to the others.)
@Sila: Happy with that, the creature makes a follow-up attack with its beak after hitting with the tentacle, but this strike is ineffective as it snaps shut too early.
For fear or simply annoyed, the grick avoided Lucy. This makes the Bladesinger extremely irritated. " YOU DARE IGNORE ME! " Lucy draws her rapier and attacks the burn on monster's flank.
Garavant watches as Sila's dagger strikes prove less deadly than they should. Not the quickest deducer of details, he frowns slightly as he stares at the tip of his rapier.
Then, noting that the beast is practically surrounded, he leaps forward again. "Have at thee, tentacled beast!"he cries, though he doubts the thing can hear him. Should the monster still be fighting after his strike, he'll take a few steps back once again to avoid its appendages.
Bonus Dash to Attack Rapier Attack: 13 Damage: 8 Sneak Attack 3 Move to Go Back w/Fancy Footwork = No OA by grick
Not having another sort of damage to do herself, she jumps in again with another Shortsword Slash followed by a hit and kick (Flurry of Blows) doing as much damage to it as she can knowing even the lessened effect does damage. Hoping it will continue to miss after that first hit.
Shortsword Attack: 18 Damage: 6
Unarmed 1 Attack: 9 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Silarains blow after blow on the beleaguered grick, slashing and bruising it with every hit. But despite her unerring accuracy, her attacks land weaker than she hopes.
Nevertheless, the creature looks badly wounded now…
Lucy’sattack is riven by her anger at being ignored, falling flatly against the grick as it twists from Sila’s assault.
Garavant’srapier also fails to penetrate, as the monster’s death throes ironically make it a harder target
(OOC: AC has not actually boosted, I’m just adding flavour to explain the miss)
Breesees that the grick is close to falling and launches a fire bolt to try to bring it down Attack: 11 Damage: 8
Gruenic'smoonbeam stays focused on the grick, causing a heat shimmer to appear above it as it starts to cook from the divine energy. The cleric's javelin finishes the job, spearing it through the head and dropping it to a steaming pile in front of Sila and Lucy.
Garavant steps up to join the others after the monster falls. "Nasty, ugly things, aren't they?"he says as he cleans the blade of his rapier. He then takes a moment to snoop around the creatures, seeing if previous victims left coins or anything else of interest behind.
Garavant sees no sign of treasure around the gricks, but the rocky slope they were hiding on looks easily climbable and you know that it leads to a passageway north.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gruenic makes a face, then cuts open the Gricks to see if there was anything they recently consumed. “And I thought … these things… smelled bad….. on the outside!”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.

Gruenic moves the moonbeam over the Grick to hopefully burn it again for 12 radiant damage.

Sila, conscious of her injuries, attempts to move around to flank the beast with her next attack. (Positioned opposite to Lucy)
CON save for grick 17
Initiative: Garavant 26, Bree 23, Gruenic 17, Gricks 12, Sila 4, Lucy 4,
Gruenic moves the wide shaft of intense moonlight to hover over the grick, just missing Sila and Lucy.
The creature’s skin sizzles in the glare, large blisters appearing down its flank.
It lashes its tentacles at Sila again, following up with a bite if they hit:
Tentacle attack Attack: 12 Damage: 12 slashing
Bite attack (only if tentacles hit) Attack: 6 Damage: 6 piercing
(will process Sila’s turn on next post)
Sila dodges the creature and prepares her response .
(@Sila, moving opposite Lucy would put you in the moonbeam; DC12 CON save or take 18 radiant damage, half on a success. Do you want to reconsider?)
For fear or simply annoyed, the grick avoided Lucy. This makes the Bladesinger extremely irritated. " YOU DARE IGNORE ME! " Lucy draws her rapier and attacks the burn on monster's flank.
Attack: 6 Damage: 6

Bree sees that the grick is close to falling and launches a fire bolt to try to bring it down Attack: 11 Damage: 8
Bree's fire flies wide, the grick seemingly unkillable as it weakens.
(Gruenic's turn)
Gruenic maintains the moonbeam on the Grick, also takes out a javelin and throws it at the creature, trying to finish it off.
Moonbeam damage : 7
Javelin throw : Attack: 21 Damage: 6
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Sila wills the Javelin and Moonbeam to do their worst as the affect the creature, hoping it will prevent another attack but ready if it doesn't.
If the Grick remains alive, Sila slashes in again with the Shortsword and draws the last of her Ki energy for a last Flurry of Blows.

Unarmed 1 Attack: 6 Damage: 7
Unarmed 2 Attack: 19 Damage: 6

(Combat over, 180xp each, well done!)
Sila lets out a breath as the creature falls just before striking out again. "I need a moment to rest after that one."
Looking around to be sure nothing else lurks in the area, she gathers and cleans her weapons.
Garavant steps up to join the others after the monster falls. "Nasty, ugly things, aren't they?" he says as he cleans the blade of his rapier. He then takes a moment to snoop around the creatures, seeing if previous victims left coins or anything else of interest behind.

Sila climbs up a little onto the slope and takes a seat a moment near the wall taking a look at her injuries and wrapping them the best she is able.
