Sila casts her Silence spell on the area of the alarm; there is no immediate sign of any effect, although Sila knows it has been successful.
Lucy holds her bemused, softly chirping owl in one hand and winds back like a pitcher before hurling Artemis up the stairs with all her might. Artemis shoots up and lands softly at the top of the stairs, before communicating back to Lucy that nothing seems to have happened; no sound, no reaction, no danger.

Sila arcana14 trying to recall if you have to step in an area or can just pass through it to trigger the alarm or anything helpful regarding either of the spells.
"My silence will only last 10 minutes and with the alarm being the same duration, we should move quickly whatever we do." Sila offers trying to encourage expedience.
Garavant doesn't exactly understand what all is going on, but it appears that they have silenced the alarm. He nods at Sila's words and moves forward, gauging the zone of silence as best he can and trying to keep quiet as he emerges from it, crossbow still in hand.
Garavant enters the zone of silence but stops short of passing through the alarm (I hope I read the intent correctly). To the rest of the party there is no discernible difference, so quiet is the rogue as he creeps forward. To Garavant however, the difference is clear; as soon as he enters Sila's silenced zone he experiences the same disorienting feeling as when fighting the troglodyte boss, no sound reaching whatsoever.
As Lucy ponders the failure of Artemis to trigger the alarm spell, she has an epiphany...
@Lucy:
You know that the Magic Mouth spell can have specific triggers set, and with this being a dungeon they would not want false alarms set off by rodents; maybe a creature of a certain size is required to trigger the alarm?

Bree turns towards the group: "I think the trigger might be for a larger creature. I recon silence is our best guess – Good idea Sila! I believe when we can see a manifestation of the mouth, then we know for sure if it will trigger. I say, let's continue on! Garavant lead the way!" When Bree notices Garavant not replying whatsoever she motions to him to continue on and she will follow a safe distance behind him.
Lucy realized the reason for her failure. The magical mouth usually has specific triggers set. In this case, to avoid wildlifes wasting their effort, the caster probably made sure that only a certain size creature can trigger the alarm.
Lucy wants to tell Garavant. Only to finding, she can't tell anything because of the silence spell. " Curse it! Why there is nothing to kill when I want to kill something! "After kicking nearby wall for several times in frustration, the wizard girl uses Minor Illusion to appear letters in front of the rogue.
" Be careful. The alarm could only react to creatures bigger than medium size.Bree said, let's continue on and lead the way!" "
Garavant pauses to read the words hanging in the air, marveling a bit at Lucy's cleverness. He looks back, gives a nod, and continues moving ahead, waiting as needed to make sure the group does not get too spread out.
Everyone passes through the area of silence without any noticeable effect, reaching the top of the stairs without incident. At the top, you find a large stone door with a dwarf's face carved into it.
The sound of hammers is louder now, coming from beyond the door in front of you.
Sila moves through the 'alarmed' and silenced space with rest of them holding concentration on the silence and looks at the door from her vantage further back in the group trying to determine if the hammering sounds seems to be generated by a natural source (blacksmith, other fallible creature that would have little variations in the hammering sounds) or possibly mechanical or automated (no variations)?
When they go through the silenced area, Lucy raises her index finger, telepathically sending order to her familiar. Artemis flies pass her master. She soundlessly lands in front of the door and listens to the hammering sound like Sila does.Artemis also pays attention to the floor for foot prints and other trace on it.
Listening to the hammering sounds, they sound like hammers on anvils. There is also a conversation going on between three or four people on the other side of the door, but about 50ft away to the east.
Sila can make out that they seem to be speaking Dwarvish, but no content of the conversation.
Smiling at Lucy's genius use of the minor illusion, Sila does the same projecting the words Dwarvish into the air in front of them. Due to either their specific dialect within the language or the distance, she cannot determine the words spoken, however. She studies the door for an opening mechanism hoping this face isn't waiting for a secret password.
(Yes, the backround noise and distance make it impossible to make out any conversation, but Sila's familiarity with the language allow her to make out the language)
Gruenic strains to hear but can make out nothing from the conversation apart from occasional broken words, enough to determine the language ("and", "about", "next" etc)
Garavant inspects the door thoroughly and sees nothing of note; unlocked, no traps.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
" Okay. We can't stand here and listen to some unclear chatting all day long. Let's take a risk. " Lucy uses Mage Hand to make the door slightly open. Artemis reluctantly takes a flight. The owl curls her body into a small feather ball, squeezing through the gap and entering the other side of the door.

Gruenic marches through the area when he is directed by Lucy and Bree.

@DM Sila does speak Dwarf - so assuming the above reason for her not understanding.

Gruenic moves a little closer, to within 30 feet and strains to make out the conversation, he speaks dwarvish and wishes to hear what is being said.

He looks around for signs of anything else unusual or particular interesting.
