Bolt's horse is distracted by her different appearance - suddenly a (still blue) Lightfoot Halfling... and one emitting a horrible stink at that.
The horse jumps and tries to run off, Bolt having to fight for control. She definitely makes a lot of noise, trying to guide her horse through the city. Possibly she's also not quite done fighting those arch-enemies of hers and hoping she'll get another chance to take a giant's head off.

You regain your mounts, to varying degrees of success, but as you begin to move them back over the rubble and into the town, you've attracted the notice of more giants.
((That's a lot of single digit stealth rolls! Someone roll me a d20 for luck. 16-20 it's just one giant, 11-15 it's two, 6-10 it's three, 1-5 it's four.))

Grandpa is stealthy, black unfortunately make some noise. However, Grandpa doesn't think the giants will hear black over all this armor clanking about.

A number of the mounts are spooked by the smell of blood, death and smoke, and are a bit skittish, all in all, it's not a stealthy re-entry into the city, and some giants have come to investigate and found the bodies of their dead.
((@Bolt, you were left nude following your minute of chaos, and your new halfling body doesn't fit well in your dragonborn clothes. You'd probably be able to borrow a spare shirt and pants from some combination of Grandpa, Stables and Ayen, so you're at least covered. Your stats don't change, but your size has, making your greataxe too big to wield easily in your current form. Less of an issue with you, since you can rune yourself large. Right now you kind of look like a kid playing dress up in their parent's clothes, but you'll be able to grow to fit them (at least 2 more times). If you expend all your embiggening, and Ayen or someone else can't spot you a big spell, your melee options might be limited.))
((@Everyone, if you can remind me of any ongoing effects you might have been subjected to? We're maybe 5-10 minutes past the first three giants, so Bolt's still got bat ears and no eyes, but thought you might recall what happened to your character easier than me remembering all of what happened to who.))
((Correct me on any positioning, I tried to give a general layout based on past marching orders.))
Hill Giant Initiative: 0
((Go ahead and roll initiative, if you beat the giants roll, go ahead and post your actions. I'm going on a bike ride, I'll roll for those remaining whenever I post again!))
((HAH! Well, while they're not surprised in a mechanical sense, they are surprised in a literal sense as they stumble upon dead giants, see a bunch of small food riding at them, and fumble for their weapons.))

Bryn leaps off of his mount if he’s on one and dashes forward and slightly south towards the buildings at the bottom of the map. He then Cunning Action attempts to Hide inbetween or next to a building.
Then move a bit into the rubble to the NE, and then bonus action hide. Stealth: 15
Also need to roll a d20 for casting a spell: 15
So I assume that stealth roll is an autofail, but if not, he'd use:
Psi-Bolstered Knack. When your nonpsionic training fails you, your psionic power can help: if you fail an ability check using a skill or tool with which you have proficiency, you can roll one Psionic Energy die and add the number rolled to the check, potentially turning failure into success. You expend the die only if the roll succeeds. 2

Ayen's Initiative: 12.
"Well, isn't fate a fickle thing?"Ayen teases Bolt, enjoying the fact that a big person got small. "Just this once, though." He points at Bolt with his staff then runs forward, tapping his staff on the ground to imbue it with natural magic once again. He knows there are going to be side-effects once again. Meanwhile, Bolt starts to grow, reaching a size similar to what she used to be.
Action: Cast Enlarge/Reduce to enlarge Bolt. Tides of Chaos roll: 7.
Stealth: 6.
Animal Handling: 11.
