Evendur charges into the camp on his mighty steed attacking the closest standing cultist with his lance.
Lance:11 Damage:13 and then tries to send the closest still standing cultist into the campfire with a bash of his shield:16
Evendur is then ready to use his shield to protect anyone standing close to him. (reaction:interception)
(OOC: If we are still going in initiative groups I guess Loosestrife will still have to do some interpretations as to where we end our round and such. Btw, can Evendur use interception on any attack aimed at Bayard?)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: I'm not seeing the map either. Where is it posted?)
Kosef's initiative: 0
He moves thirty feet to the closest cultist (whether Kobold or human) and tries to behead that individual: 22 to hit for 12 damage. (GWM BA if necessary, targeting the next closest hostile being in range: 6 to hit for 9 damage.)
Kosef will yell, "Take your lives and flee while you have them!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: All I see in place of the map is a small 'minus' symbol inside a small circle, sorry.)
Valas initiative: 18
Valas sprints to keep up with the foolhardy Evendur, drawing his new bow and an arrow as he draws close. He tries to cover the knight, taking down nearby enemies that may try to flank him.
(Wow, that's a whole lot more kobolds than I expected. Kendes will be 10' farther back than he is right now, in i8. He would have stopped when he reached optimal ranged weapon attack, which is 20'. Also, did we short rest before we set off, or did leveling up reset our hp? Otherwise Kendes is still at 12/17 HP.)
Kendes, realizing there are far, far more kobolds than he realized, throws one of his spears at the closest one:
Attack: 8 Damage (if it hit): 6
He then retreats back towards the party in a southwest direction for 40' (to o4), deciding to deal with the kobold group the same way the kobolds deal with their enemies: by finding safety in numbers.
(Oh, I also just realized with a surprise round, Kendes is going up again immediately, so here's another turn:)
Kendes steps forward, seeing one of the human raiders still up, and attacks him with his other spear. After making a feint, he lets go of one hand to box the man soundly about his ears.
OOC: I thought you all took a long rest before leaving the keep, which reset everyone's hit points to full.
Kendes' spear misses the kobolds who are starting to scatter, but his spear attack against the human in the fire is far more successful. Kendes then moves on, and attacks the last human, who Valas shot earlier. The human is already a little feeble from the first attack, and is unable to block Kendes' strike. The human is killed.
Valas' arrow pierces one of the kobolds straight through the heart, causing it to collapse lifelessly to the ground.
OOC: I will not put up an updated map until the end of round 1, so I will give these details: All the humans and the kobold in E12 are dead.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Formation companions, let them come to us." Evendur positions himself between Kendes, Kosef and Valas (O4) and readies an attack with his lance should any kobold come within 10 feet. He is ready to use his reaction to protect Kendes, Kosef, Valas or Bayard if attacked.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The kobolds get out their slings and approach hesitantly. They move closer, and come within range to fire their sling pellets. A few of the kobolds are out slightly out of range, but they attempt to shoot anyway.
Two of the kobolds attack Valas with their stones.
Attack: 21 Damage: 4
Attack: 6 Damage: 4
Two of the kobolds send their stones towards Evendur.
Attack: 13 Damage: 4

Attack: 9 Damage: 5
Attack: 7 Damage: 6
Two of the kobolds send their stones towards Kendes.
Attack: 17 Damage: 3
Attack: 15 Damage: 3
OOC: I will post a new map to display the kobolds' new positions. There will be no new map at the end of round 1.
Stepping between and stones slung at him, Kosef moves to J7 and attacks the closest kobold: 13 to hit for 14 damage. (GWM BA if necessary, targeting the next closest hostile being in range: 21 to hit for 14 damage.) He aims to behead them.
He doesn't yell or warn them again, just works grimly.
OOC: I just realized I forgot to kill a kobold. I will roll a d4 to decide which one failed to attack due to death. The d4 number goes in order for the ones who had no disadvantage on the attack (the kobold killed was at the front of the group). 1
Kosef swiftly disposes of two kobolds with two powerful strokes of his sword. (I7 and I8)
Kendes, Valas, and Evendur are up next.
OOC: The first attack against Valas never happens, because that kobold (in K10) should be dead. Sorry for the mistake.
OOC: Edited the kobolds killed. I am not doing very well with the reading today.
Kendes manages to duck under one of the stones, bringing his spear up and spinning it quickly before him like a makeshift shield to deflect the second away.
Kendes moves to meet the kobolds (J6), brandishing his spear:
Attack: 19 Damage: 12
He follows with a punch: Attack: Attack: 15 Damage: 8
And then backs away, to try and split the kobold forces (to D1 or D2 if he had to move to hit another kobold with a punch. He‘d try to move without taking AOOs but would move anyway regardless)

The cultist rolls away from the lance, abandoning his uncooked dinner. The other cultist standing nearby attempts to avoid Evendur's shield.
Acrobatics: 9
(The map is a broken image link for me, but here's Kendes' initiative: 21)
Kendes follows in after the others, aiming, as he tends to do, for the kobolds.

(OOC: Not sure why I'm getting the red banner. I edited by adding my initiative before the other rolls. Multiple posts from now on.)

Valas initiative: 18
Valas sprints to keep up with the foolhardy Evendur, drawing his new bow and an arrow as he draws close. He tries to cover the knight, taking down nearby enemies that may try to flank him.
Attack: 10
Damage: 10
Initiative: Kendes, Valas, Evendur, Kobolds, Humans, Kosef
The human Evendur shoved with his shield falls into the fire. 3
Valas fires an arrow into a cultist, while Kosef attacks with his sword. Kosef is able to decapitate both his hapless foes.
OOC: I hope the map is visible now. If anyone wants to adjust position or change an action now that the map is visible just say so.
Kendes, Valas, and Evendur are up next.
Seeing that the others have the humans outmatched, Valas turns and tries to start picking off the kobolds with his bow before they become a problem.
Attack: 24
Damage: 11
