"Two packets will be 500 gold." Bricklepop waddles over to the counter and retrieves a small lockbox from underneath to deposit all the coins he's recently collected for the items.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Zenodor pays Bricklepop, and makes a mental note that it's a good thing that he and his adventuring friends are not tempted to do evil, as surely a magic shop such as this, would make an exciting and profitable target for a heist.
As the others have been looking around and thinking about other stuff; Pepin already started thinkering on some of the stuff in the box. Starting with a list of what kind of metal objects there are. He will continue when they get to the Red Panda Brewery.

Besides the item Bricklepop already showed you there are 4 long pipes, 8 short pipes, 2 spheres, 4 cubes of various sizes, 3 rectangles, and 14 oddly unrecognizable shapes (complex... not simple).

Zenodor remembers one more thing he'd like to shop for, before tomorrow's meeting. Maps. Preferably different ones of: the city itself, the sewers (if there is one), the surrounding countryside, the wider areas further afield.

Ooc. Just to clarify: Z isnt after some expensive magic marauders map, but simply some inexpensive hiking maps. But you never know when some maps come in useful
Tempe forks over the 500gp (Belt already added) while he is doing sod he also pays for the staff if its the same price then he asks "I heard of an amazing item called a clockwork amulet do you have any?" said with tilted head as he tries on the sash.
Some of the pieces look like they can easily fit together, others might take a little more tinkering. Whenever you want to spend a couple of downtime hours and work on 'something' make a relevant skill roll (or tool roll) and depending on whether the roll succeeds and by how much... I'll let you know what happens(?)
@Randall
You don't use up all your resources but there are a few cases that require some, and everyone there is appreciative of your efforts.
@Zenodor
Getting your hands on some maps of the city and countryside is not a big issue, the map of the sewers takes going through a little more red tape. A few meetings and filling out/signing some extra paperwork to prove you're not up to no good is all it takes.
@Tempe
Bricklepop takes hold of a chain around his own neck, one of many, and extracts your clockwork amulet from beneath his vest and shirt. "That will be 50 gold more."

As you all leave the menagerie Bricklepop follows you out and hangs a sign on the door 'Gone Fishing.'
He mentions, "Taking a few days off to try out this beauty." as he hefts a strange looking, forked stick over his shoulder. It resembles a divining rod but you notice he's holding it wrong way around until you determine that if he uses 2 lines, hooks, and bait he will probably either catch 2 fish at a time or at the very least double his chances.

Once back at the Inn for the night, Z will study the various maps and consider the information gained through Itraxan to try to make an educated guess as to where the Goblins' tunnels may lead to, and where they would meet the Sewers.
"I believe I understand the plan, but I'd like to know where you'd get the most from my assistance: in the sewers to deny them a way forward or at the back end to smash them against our defenses?"
"I believe I understand the plan, but I'd like to know where you'd get the most from my assistance: in the sewers to deny them a way forward or at the back end to smash them against our defenses?"
"A good question. I believe going for the far end of the tunnels is more dangerous. There will be hundreds, perhaps thousands of Goblins there and we would be surrounded. However, if we could strike swiftly to collapse the tunnel entrance and then escape, this would deal them a mighty blow. Going into the sewers would be safer and easier - if we know where they are coming in from, we can create traps and set up an ambush. And in the narrow confines of a tunnel, they cannot being their overwhelming numbers to bear, but must face us a few at a time.
We should discuss the options with the General tomorrow. What are your thoughts?"
"In my opinion we should first focus on protecting the city, so help the guards/army fight in the sewers before we head into the goblin camp and see if we can take out the leaders."

Randall:
When they are done at the magic shop, Randall will take his leave and go to help at the military infirmary until it is time to meet up at the tavern.
OOC: Randall will use up most of his healing capability for the day if needed at the infirmary—no compensation needed.
