Eve: You check the beds and they are a little lumpy, but not the worst any of you have slept on. You also dont find anything else that seems amiss in the room
Professor: Its a beautiful vista out across the Loc. Visibility is low due to the dark and the moderate snow that is falling.
Maudath: There is a walkway extending out from the door that leads to the next tower in line. Looking about you can see lights from many of the windows in the main keep as well as flickering torchlight coming from the other towers. There is a set of stone steps built into the wall that lead down into the courtyard below. You do find a good inch or so of fresh snow has built up along the walkway.
Maudath notes the stairs down to the courtyard and the route to the other towers. They have options.
”Okay, no head thumping right away and those duergars were nasty. But I think a little night time walkabout is still in order. We should find the town speaker. And what now, find the missing boy and tell him not to be such a dolt and write his mother a damn letter?”
Maudath heads back down the stairs and tells the others what they found upstairs. He suggests the same thing he did to the Professor upstairs - go find the boy now and later go take a look and see if they can find the town speaker.
"Sounds like our host is restricting access to the speaker... if he even still lives. I think if we push them on that point, we will reach a breaking point quickly."

Eve has been looking sheepinsh and bouncing on her bed until now. But now, she says, “I’ve been working on something… something that could make you kind of completely impossible to see!…”.
”It’s a bit like this, show them Ipkiss!…”. Ipkiss flutters into the middle of the room, in his normal devil form, waves goodbye and disappears…
“I could turn one of you invisible, if you want to do a little exploring? I can send little Ipkiss with you too and I can see what he sees and hears from here!…”.
She looks a little embarrassed but proud, and sits grinning around the room.
"Eve! You're a wonder!", the Professor exclaims, taking her by the hands and twirling her about.
"I'm not much of a sneaker, but I'm small... less likely for someone to bump into and wonder what that's all about. And my new modifications make me a bit quieter... You could wait in the wings, and bring in the bruisers if needed? I've never been invisible before... I wonder what it's like? Ipkiss? What's it like to be invisible?"

Eve delights in a little dance with the Professor.
Ipkiss pops back into existence. “It’s great!! I don’t want to get too technical on you, but, it’s like you’re there… but no one can see you!”. He pulls an ‘I know! Cool, right?!’ face. “We can head out together, and I can ‘call’ on Eve whenever we need backup!”.
Eve steps forward, “We doing this??… I’ll be pretty drained after this!… It can last up to an hour…”.
Unless anyone objects, Eve casts invisibility on the Professor. And Ipkiss will turn invisible again and flutter beside him, ready.
"Perhaps we wait a bit... although... with the snow covering the ground, if I were to go anywhere outside, they'd see my tracks... Is our inner door guarded?"
The Professor will pop his head out the door they were brought in through, looking around for guards.

You see a few people walking on the far side of the courtyard. You can also hear some dogs barking that is coming from a small building adjacent to the main keep. But no one else.
“We could wait until dark,” Maudath says. “Harder to see footprints then. We could go chat with the Huarwar boy now.”
Its always dark, except for the few hours in the middle of the day when is slightly less dark.........thinking about it, it's probably early afternoon at this point so the bit of light that happens mid day has faded back to complete darkness.
"Guess we missed the grand sunrise and sunset while we had lunch," Maudath says as he looks over top of the Professor out into the courtyard. "Miserable place, this."
He pauses for a moment, not sure if he has a plan or idea or not but continues on with the half baked idea forming.
"What if some of us go look for Huarwar? It's not too late so no one expects us to be asleep. If we walk across the courtyard, all our footsteps will muck up the snow and no one will notice an extra set of Professor prints in there. Then we can chat with the boy while the Professor and the flying devil have a poke about for the town speaker."
"And you absolute genius are forgetting the fact that you have a fake automaton that doesn't raise any suspicion? Fine by me less work" Ryhunis then got close to the professor "I might have not spoken but i have been with attention, we either work with a... warlock.. ew it almost pains me to almost give such low life that title that is working with a demon... wich no, or we work with a demon, I will follow you, due to... " she spoke a few sounds but no word came out, then did a long sigh and continued" several reasons, one day i might tell them all... but that doesn't matter, what matters is chances are we are in a situation that we are gonna be used and abused and probably killed by both sides, both are the good ones, both have their daamed good reasons, i would feel sick if i could, well... let's just be prepared to fight both sides... better safe then sorry"
