Her long red hair is tied back in a brade, and her emerald eyes are sharp as she looks you over. "Been making your way through?" She asks the group of you. "I've lost all of the others, so I would very much like to team up if you are ok with a wizard coming along with you." She wears a set of half plate armor under a long cloak. Under the armor she appears to ahve a ankle-length tunic on. There are daggers at her hips, a component pouch thre as well, and, of all things, a piece of blank paper in her hand.
As you finish any greetings the door that leads onward clicks open.

Two hulking, sickly-looking, creatures turn as you step inside.

Just before entering, Buni shifts into his beastial form. He doesn't mind the new addition to the group. It's not like he knew the others before entering anyway.

Any creature other than a catoblepas that starts its turn within 10 feet of the catoblepas must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of the creature’s next turn. Buni runs towards the southern monster and past it. Then, he enters his rage. Once he's behind the creature, he swings his Maul twice, caring little about defence.

Aruzhal rushes forward, drawing a shadowy blade and spraying ice as he prepares to attack. Both of the strange creatures resist the affects of the cold, taking only half damage. (Both made their saves.)
Buni rushes past the southern beast, then strikes at it twice with little care for his own safety. The first attack skims harmlessly off the things thick hide, while the second hits the creature and causing it to grunt in pain.
ca1 Moves forward to be next to T.A.N.K. Then sends a beam of energy at the metal man... Death Ray (Recharge 3). The catoblepas targets a creature that it can see within 30 feet of it. The target must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, taking 32 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the target instead takes 64 necrotic damage. The target dies if reduced to 0 hit points by this ray.
T.A.N.K. and Gunnar are now up. (Aruzhal and Buni did not have to make the save vs stench, as they did not start their turn within the distance of the thing, but T.A.N.K. and Gunnar will need to make the save now.)
Gunnar feels a wave of nausea wash over him as he takes in the stench of the creature moving in next to TANK. He unsteadily moves away from the creature down to flank the creature Buni is fighting. He pushes down the bile rising in his throat, utters a curse in infernal, and attacks the best twice with his battleaxe. (hexblade curse against CA2, move to F8)

T.A.N.K. (Yep a straight value for their damage if the save fails by more than 5, and remember these are only the 5th most dangerous creatures in DND...) T.A.N.K. slams the monster with two blows of their weapon, doing damage on both hits.
Gunnar (Yep flanking cancels out disadvantage, but man, you can't hit worth anything...) Both strikes miss their target.

robin (Slow seems to barely affect these things... They don't even have bonus actions, and their action is either the death ray or an attack, so not super affective...) Robin casts haste on T.A.N.K.

Whenever their systems reboot, T.A.N.K. thanks the others, and remarks on how it was singularly unpleasant to be possessed by the ghost.
