The thorns hit Mock pretty hard, but somehow, she's still standing. And now she's even angrier because, well, now you've gone and hurt her friends. Some snarled Infernal falls from her lips as she raises her axe up high - and her axe starts to glow white-hot with searing smite.
Realizing you're going to eventually overpower her, the Duskthorn teleports away, sinking back into the ground through a tangle of thorns and out of combat.

"Doc's bizzy, yo, I got this shit!"Kasha declared. "I have no idea what's going on, or where we are, but yo, dog, I GOT this."
Kasha gangster walked over to Raza.
"Ok, folks, gimme some room! The first thing you do is look around and make sure everything is safe!"she took a moment, while Raza was bleeding out, to look around and make sure everything was safe. "Then, see if the victim is responsive."Kasha leaned down over Raza and said, "Ma'am. Ma'am! Are you ok?"she remembered something. "Now, here's something I didn't know. You cannot render aid without their permission, you know, legal this and that whatnot. Isn't that interesting? I find that very interesting."Raza continued to leak fluids freely. She turned back to Raza. "Ma'am! Do I have permission to render aid! Ma'am? Au!"she addressed everyone. "The victim has appeared to have passed out! It's time to administer shock treatment, but first you have to see if they're wearing any jewelry first, so they don't get electrocuted."she checked Raza for jewelry. "Ok! She's good. No jewelry, which is strange because she's very flashy."
Kashas hands electrified, and with a loud, "CLEAR!"she slammed her hands on your chest like she was a god damn AED, healing you for 12.
Mock only spares one hand to pull the thorns out of her own skin. The other keeps a tight grip on her axe as she stands protectively over Raza and the others working on her. Her eyes keep scanning the area around them, and her tail flicks sharply behind her. She doesn't trust that the thing is gone. "Anyone got eyes on it?" she calls out to the others.
“Cease your panicking,” Zhisshikassa irritably groans, returning the arm he extended to cast his spell back within his robes. Hadn’t these people grown accustomed to others dropping on the job? He ceased a hiss. He has never panicked - not once in his life. It was a useless emotion.
He instead walks up to Daewen and flicks another geometric mote of fate in her direction. ”Use this for what you wish. Track, keep watch, whatever.”
"Anyone got eyes on it?" she calls out to the others. "Why are you looking in your backpack, it didn't go in there, silly!" Kasha laughed, getting up. "How did I get over here?"

Daewen comes crashing out of the bushes, stumbling into the open road where the battle just took place. She looks like she's about ready to cut someone's head off, until she realizes that the dryad isn't there. Confused, she hits the brakes, and slaps her two short swords together in mocking gesture. She continues to march around the road, looking outwards towards the trees, slapping her swords together, trying to goad the dryad to come back.

"Don't worry, Raz, I gotcha. Word to your mother."Kasha threw up a few signs you don't recognize and helped you up.
Strangely, there is no further sign of the Duskthorn, so you all continue on the path for another two miles. You look to the left, and see the flowing riverbank - it becomes a dark cliff, the water below. To your right, a foresty wall of stone. Not far ahead, the cliff face levels out and the road turns abruptly north through the trees. In the far distance across the river, two points of weak light struggle to pierce the night, barely illuminating a large building.

CHAOS! The dryad uses a reaction to explode thorns out in every direction! Each person in melee range is hit for 16 damage!
Nephvir was 45 feet away but runs closer, to 15 feet. He points at the dryad and a gong is heard.
Toll the dead for 6 necrotic damage, DC 12 wisdom save.
Afterward, he pulls out his short swords.

Combat has ended.
Raza staggers as she is pierced by multiple thorns. Both knees hit the ground and she falls forward, bleeding profusely.
"Doc, check out Raza, quick!" Nephvir goes back to the tree where this thing apparently came from, searching for it.

Have the Drow moved above ground? Daewen ponders to herself. Illogical. But dangerous if true.
