"What do you think our next move is from here? This is a matter of sheer numbers. Perhaps we can lure their force away and head back to the castle, find where this moonshard resides."
Arora looks at Nephvir and shrugs a bit "I'm not really sure, we need to see what this Estate looks like and how quickly we can get support from Rybalka. I'm really hoping that support from Rybalka will help offset us being outnumbered... but my bigger concern are those spellcasters that the Drow have, we really need a good plan to neutralize them." She's quiet for a bit as they walk along "If support from Rybalka can help hold them off here, we may be able to slip away and back to the castle... I just don't know, there are too many dependancies right now."
As they finally approach the Estate, Arora's hopes die a bit as she sees that this estate was not quiet as advertised....I guess we shall see how fortified it is on the inside. Daewen and Neph head out to scout the perimeter as the villagers start heading into the Estate. "We need someone to go back to Rybalka to let them know what's going on and ask if they can send any aid. Do we have any volunteers?"

Zhi's lips once again pull backwards in a sneer. He chooses to ignore the comment about his diet as he brushes some dust from settling on his robes after being kicked up by Kasha's transformation. "What a pleasure to have you back to your previous form, Kasha. Next time, I will not fix something you should have under control," he leers. He swivels around, blue robes fluttering in the air, and continues to cast his usual daily assortment of spells in preparation for potential combat. "Never call me that, Kasha. I am Zhisshikassa, and that is how I expect to be referred to as." Several commoners roll their eyes. Not where Zhi can see them, though.
All that is interrupted when Nephvir claps the -2 strength Zhi on the back and sends him to his hands and knees. He picks himself up with another snarl - while he wasn't physically injured, that's another blow to his pride. "Mock me again and your tongue will be the next component in my spells."
Zhi hurriedly agrees to head towards the mansion without further delay. He shares similar feelings with the rest of the party - this was where they were making a stand? He rolls his eyes. Very well. He will make do. "I do not care about the civilians. I suggest we use this opportunity and have the drow force coalesce on these villagers while we clear out the castle. As for spellcasters? I suppose the time for remaining inconspicuous is over. I shall be using my full capabilities - and I am excellent at countering spells."
"What a pleasure to have you back to your previous form, Kasha. Next time, I will not fix something you should have under control," he leers. "I am in complete control, what are you talking about?"she wondered, genuinely confused. "Never call me that, Kasha. I am Zhisshikassa, and that is how I expect to be referred to as." "Bless you!" she says, at hearing your name. She boops your snoot. "BOOUP!"and skips away like a 7 year old.
Upon returning from her inspection of the compound, Daewen instructs (with some difficulty, as she can’t speak) a contingent of able-bodies civilians on how to shore up the broken portions of the fence in the upper right hand section of the property. She then climbs the taller of the two trees in the south end of the property, pulls out her bow, and settles down in a snipers nest/lookout over the entire property.
Zhi gives Kasha an interesting look. “You are permitted to flee as a bird, as far as I am concerned,” he rasps - perhaps she wouldn’t even return to danger the party. The thought of that makes him giddy as he recalls the disgraceful ‘booping’. Zhi rubs his snout and placed his usual scowl across his features. He ignores any plea for his aid in constructing the wall. Did he look like some servant suited for manual labor?
Zhisshikassa, for his part, traces a Tiny Hut in the middle of the keep and instructs everyone to fall back inside should the Drow overrun the place. It would offer some protection - people inside could even shoot arrows through it.
He spends the day investigating the manor and the people inside, searching for any Drow spies and ensuring each and every one was accounted for as a non-Drow.
Raza moves among the villagers, helping them to get settled despite the funny looks she receives as she appears to talk to herself. 'That was so awful, I would rather face one hundred drow that face Zhi like that again. Hopefully Kash can figure out her spell.' She mumbles. 'I wonder what the plan to do with the moonshard, they said something about sacrifices.' She says thoughtfully as she looks for foodstuffs in the pantry for the villagers, handing an apple to a young boy as he pokes his head in the door.
“You are permitted to flee as a bird, as far as I am concerned,” "Ok! I'll go warn the Rybalkans!"Kasha said, excitedly, and in an arcane green pouf turned into some sort of small thrush, and took off.
In the wrong direction.
About an hour later, the drow arrived in force. Five giant spiders and ten outriders. Roll for initiative!
Zhi snarls as the Drow finally arrive. “Keep one alive for interrogation. Slay the rest. If the situation becomes dire, take refuge in my hut. Only us are allowed inside - the commoners are not. We may shoot through the invisible walls. They may not.”
Zhi’s robe flutters in the wind as he lets out a blast of commanding energy. Swirling, writhing snakes made of shadow surround his nearby vicinity with a cacophony of terrifying hisses as Zhi draws the power of the Orzhov to his command. The spectral snakes coalesce and begin shredding any Drow who wander too close.
Action - Spirit Guardians. Outriders 2, 5, and 7 must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or take 14 Necrotic damage, half on success
At the start of each of their turns until the spell ends, Outriders 2, 5, and 7; as well as any enemy within 15’ of Zhi must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw and take another 18 Necrotic damage, half on success, and have their movement speed halved.
Nephvir attacks spider 5, attempting to put them down. As a bonus action he disengages and continues to be in position to attack, but slowly moving toward the tiny hut.
