Also, yes you can sneak attack them, all goblinoids have terrible wisdom. And for the new players, I will tell you all when a creature is injured (below half health) or bloodied, (10% of their health)
With Gromedark’s attack as cue, I let my arrows fly at the two goblins closest to me. (Copied and consolidated from posts #835, #836 and #837 for continuity.)
#835: Varek’s focus is drawn from the carnage to the five goblins not too far away. He immediately draws his bow and, ensuring he has a clean line of sight, let’s fly two arrows at the two closest goblins.
(occ: Using Dread Ambusher, I can take two attacks but only on my very first attack within the combat. This is my first combat roll. So, hoping I did it correctly. Please keep me honest, here.)

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Marten runs along the roof tops to a point parallel to the goblins. He then launches himself at the nearest goblin. Hopefully landing on the goblin knocking it over or just applying falling damage.
Ready for the impact Marten tucks into a ball and rolls up to his feet. (Monk ability slow fall. I use my reaction to reduce falling damage up to 20)
Ooc:If you allow the dive bomb. Rolls below if not ill just move up to the goblins and attack.
Acrobatics: 10
Falling damage: 7 assuming second story used 2d6
He then attacks the goblin with his quarterstaff and bonus action follows up with a kick.
One of the goblins, only noticing you as you are almost on top of him, stumbles as you land on him, can you re-roll both your attacks with advantage as the goblin is now prone.

A stout, red headed dwarf steps out of the tavern with a battleaxe and a shield in his hands. He sees the goblins running towards him and smiles. He walks up to the nearest one and attacks with his battleaxe 21 to hit

With all but on of the five goblins taken out, the last one draws it's scimitar and slashes at Marten: Attack: 9 Damage: 7
Meanwhile the goblin boss sees three people putting up a fight, and takes out a javelin and throws it at Varek Attack: 23 Damage: 5 and then moves towards you all.
As Gromedark's arrow kills another hobgoblin. One of them looks up on the roof. He shouts "Hey Gromedark! The prime minister of this kingdom is here and were gonna get em and hold a ransom! You want to join us?" He looks down at the hobgoblins corpse. "We have a spot open!"

Osborn sees the lone goblin attacking Varek and decides that his priority is defending his new team mate. Dark swirls of smoke reach out from the halfling and wrap around the goblin, before Osborn unleashes a powerful bolt of arcane energy at it.
Bonus action: casting hex on the goblin (giving it disadvantage on DEX ability checks)
Action: casting eldritch blast at the same goblin: Attack: 14 Damage: 6 force damage, plus 2 necrotic damage if the blast hits
Still waiting on Mordecai and Furfoot, and also me, who forgot to.
Goblins: 17
Goblin Boss: 3
Hobgoblins: 18

One of the goblins, only noticing you as you are almost on top of him, stumbles as you land on him, can you re-roll both your attacks with advantage as the goblin is now prone.
The two staff beats take out that goblin. Mordecai's turn

The goblin narrowly dodges out of the way. Initiative again:
Varek
Marten
Mordecai (sorry I forgot your character's name)
1 Goblin and Goblin Boss
Gromedark
Hobgoblins
Osborn
Initiative 23
Sorry initiative again just means I've updated it because it has changed (-4 goblins), not that I actually want people to roll again.
Cool.
