Mantle screams in rage but the sound is lost in the rumbling thunder galloping toward the sleds.
A calmer voice speaks over the wind and noise. " Press on. We will try to outdistance the avalanche. And if you get caught in it hang on to the sleds as long as you can." Freya's words seem to drive the fear from your mind.
For everyone.
Sled drivers roll Animal Handling DC 15.
If failed the team ( driver and passenger ) take 1d6 of damage.
Just behind the rumbling waves of snow the kobold rush forward. They seem unaffected by the weather and the snow.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tylaerys tries to stay firm in her control of the sled dogs. Animal handling:19 (help action from Kane included) "Look out they´re coming."She shouts over the rumbling of the avalanche still trying to seek cover in the sled.
(OOC: I think it´s a bit unclear which pairs went in the sleds, but it would be clear that Tylaerys and Kane went in one. Last stretch Quip and Allyn went in one which would leave the last one to Aster and Almarath as before. In this case Aster could be helped by Almarath and get guidance (roll again I guess), while either Allyn or Quip could roll with advantage and inspiration from the other. Ok?)

With a wave of his hand a 5ft wall of shimmering magical energy appears between himself and his enemies.
Cast: Minor Illusion (Full Cover, Spend Action to make DC13 Int(Investigation) check to discern illusion)
With Poly overhead to show him where to aim, Almarath will unleash a blast of fiery energy as soon as the beasts get within 120ft. He shouts to the others, "Blast them!"
Cast: Fire Bolt Attack(Advantage - Help): 19 Damage: 10
As the kobolds rush towards them Tylaerys unleashes a crackling beam of radiant energy aiming for the closest kobold still standing.
Tylaerys initiative:20 Eldritch blast:23 + Allyns inspiration:4 Damage:9 and then leans back for maximum cover.
(OOC: Tylaerys has some healing available but would prefer to save it should anyone go down. Tylaerys apperantly also had recieved Oghmas blessing, attack + 1 and would save the use of Allyns bardic insiration for now. Thanks Almarath)
Quip will hold one hand on the reigns and the other on the bodhran, she'll stop the rhythms she was playing and trace a sigil on the face of the drum before striking it.
Instead of the typical drum tone there is a low sound that washes out over the roar of the avalanche. It is soothing and invites the nearest group of kobolds to sleep
(OOC: No worries, waiting for GamoRust I think. Kane acts before kobolds so I expect you can post your action for the round. And you better not drop out, Tylaerys would never forgive you ;-)
As the wave of snow comes crashing down the group led by Mantle and Freya's sled rushes forward. The blast of eldritch power speeds toward a kobold. The force of the blast sends the beast spinning in the air, blood staining the snow.
Quip drumming changes for a second into a soothing melody and out of the corner of the eyes you can see several kobolds drop. The two running next to them don't seem to notice that they are running forward alone.
With Poly's help, Almarath aim is true. A single molten rock streaks forward, taking a creature in the eye. It crumples to the floor in a puff of white powder.
The dwarves, once out of the avalanche steer their sled to face one of the kobold's group. The dogs don't slow down as Mantle expertly takes his axe from its harness and Freya starts to sing her prayer.
Of the other two dwarves, there are no signs.
Perception Check DC 15 (With advantage for the last sled )
The Chess's sled was heavier than yours and was trailing behind you. They must have been taken by the onrushing snow.
Kane holds onto Tylaerys and whispers, “Sarana, escali nevero….” A beam of orange and red lighting blasts from his hand and tries to hit the nearest kobold.
Kane's blast misses the rushing kobolds. The swerving of the sled makes aiming quite difficult.
Almarath notices that the last sled is missing and with it the two dwarves and most of the cargo. It is not easy to see in the mist that has gathered after the avalanche but to the east and further down the slope he can hear a faint barking sound.
( OOC: I ll move the kobolds but Allyn will go before them. )
The first group of creatures crashes into the dwarves oblivious to the danger to themselves. Spears and daggers bite into the dogs' flanks.
The second group moves toward Quip's sled, not realizing that they are just two of them. They also try to take down the dogs but it is far more difficult.
The last group moves to confront Tylaeris and Kane but is still too far un the mountain to make contact. Still, they don't stop despite the magic thrown their way.
Further up the lone shaman starts singing once more, a prayer to his god.
Mantle screams in rage but the sound is lost in the rumbling thunder galloping toward the sleds.

"****-" Aster quickly jumps over the cargo and takes hold of the sled reins, begging that the dogs don't consider them a tasty morsel
(Animal handling: 3 )
The dogs turn and start barking, trying to get at their fingers

As the avalanche settles down, Allyn chants a quick prayer and healing energy flows into both he and Quip.
