You notice that when you put ALL the keys together stacked on top of each other, they form a master key. With it, it looks definitely that it could fit in the keyslot of the snail statue.

You also understand everything in the universe. For about 7 seconds. Then your brain explodes.

She starts backing away from the small ruins towards the shrine, then turns to run to the doorway. "Uh, guys! Lots of critters coming, from there!" she points in the direction from which they are coming. "Let's turn that lock and grab that cube, quick!"

There are 6 huge yuan-ti warriors running towards the entrance to the shrine from both ways from the long road running east and west, 3 coming from the east and 3 from the west. They will be upon you all in two rounds. 

OOC: Are they within 120 feet? If so, Clayton will Hypnotic Pattern one group if we’ve taken a short rest

Ok, here we go. After Clayton casts the spell, everyone roll for initiative. The non-charmed yuan-ti won't let that stand or run away.

"The goat is for healing yes?"

Slither casts  healing spirit (bonus action) in the form of a goat near yasei then uses his action to turn invisible and will place himself ona position where the yuanti will need to move past him to reach the rest of the party. 

Yasei stares down at the goat, then back at the on-rushing yuan-ti, then back at the goat...with a confused look on her face. You can see her mouthing the words slowly, as if confused by the sudden appearance...”a....goat?”

OOC: would be easier if you roll your own goat healing rolls. It's 1d6, once per turn as you step through the goat's image. 

Mal watches as Bree runs toward the shrine.

"Huh, where is she off in such a hurry?" He shrugs and makes no move to follow. She'll be fine with the others. As he stands in the ruins, he just examines the broken and ruined keys. 'Hmm, wonder if they'd still be worth anything.'

Only when he hears Clayton come out, does leave out the ruins to check anything.

"Ah hell, snake people. I thought we were done with these things." He pulls the quarterstaff off his back and assumes a familiar stance, muscles tense but loose.

Yasei: Since she’s a melee fighter, she really has nothing to do for two rounds. So, she’ll just hunker down into her Stone Stance (+2 to AC) and wait for the lunatics to reach her.
