OOC: Ouch, another fail. Not a good day for us. Speaking of, do we have a sense of why it might be disadvantage? Was wondering if we sensed it was like a particular type of metal is pulled more strongly or something along those lines. Just so we know how to avoid it when we head back.

So, all she has on her of significant metal is a dagger, she lost most of her stuff in her reincarnation, etc. Some coins from the secret room. Buckle on a belt, that sort f thing. A Dex check to remove the dagger and scabbard before getting pulled to the statue? Dex check (+2): 4
"Ow." Mal grunts, and slowly pulls himself from the piles. He stumbles for a second before catching himself, then turns around to help pull Bree from the pile as well.
She growls. "I'm getting tired of this." She stands up with Mal's help, and checks her items over. Holds up a piece of chalk. "Looks like this made it. Not like I was using the dagger, anyway."

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Ooc: I'd like some opinions or a ruling on healing spirit. RAW I see no limits on its usage other than one use per character per round. Looks like it's written to continually heal whoever it contacts each round. With all of us bunched together as we are and because I upchannelled seems to me we could all take 10 rounds of 2d6 healing each. Do you agree? Just seems kinda strong.
OOC: From what I’m reading “whenever you or a creature you can see moves into the spirit’s space for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, you can cause the spirit to restore 1d6 hit points to that creature (no action required).“ It seems to be the case. Evidently, this has been one of the most notable spells of Xanathar’s because of its immense healing capabilities. However, I think it’s fair because we are in dungeon of ultra death.
OOC: Good thing my armor wasn’t made of metal. I would’ve been one naked cowboy. Hide armor, the best choice

Ruh roh, Scooby Doo.
As long as you have no metal on the way back, it won't be at disadvantage.
Slither, you take 32 damage, smashing on the shield, and, comically, on top of Clayton.
Ow. Please heal me.

Shariel refocuses her mind once again (Athletics) and forces her lithe frame aginst the pull.

Poor Bree. You take 25 damage as you smash into a pile of your fellows and anything you're carrying that's metal immediately explodes.
Same with Shariel, 38 goodbye sweet metal things.
Well this something, gone for a little while and a statues decides to kills us.
Metal on Maldrek: Tinderbox. messkit, some woodcarver's tools, and my darts which I assume have little bits of metal on the end.

Dog pile on Clayton!
31 smashing crushing gravitational damage. Sorry Mal.
Is that everyone?
Yes.
Clayton votes that we just all lay here a moment while the holy goat fills us with her life giving presence. Not like we can lose anymore metal.

"Okay so what the hell just happened?"
“Special magic wall. Seems to pull us in with magic. Doubles up if you have any metal on you, like a reverse pitfall. Enjoy the goat, Mal.”
