Yasei scrambles over to the top of the stairway that the Kobold ran down, and pokes her head into the doorway/entryway to look down the stairs. What does she see?

It appears to lead down into what looks like a wine cellar.

I vote we check it out!

The team stacks up behind Yasei, and we cautiously make our way down the stairs.

KAKAROL THE CHOSEN

Guttering torches cast dim light under the arches of a wine cellar roughly 20 feet square. The cracked ceiling is 8 feet high. In an alcove on the far side of the room, a pile of treasure twinkles in the torchlight. Kobolds gather around it.

You see a large kobold sitting on the pile of treasure - clearly the leader. There are 12 kobolds surrounding him, which include two caster looking types, armed and watching you all decent the stairs. They wait, in a battle stance. They do not attack yet, as if deciding what you all are going to do. 

"What do you want?!" The leader spits out. "Leave us alone!"

Unless there are any objections from the others, “Greetings, great king. May your gold piles be ever shiny. My name is Clayton Pendragon. My companions and I are passing through the area, may I humbly request your name?” Clayton pipes up from the back in Draconic. 

"I am Kakarol! Chosen of Acererak!" He says. "What are your intentions?" He asks eyeing all of you carefully. He holds up his hand to stay his followers. For the moment.

“Currently, we’re avoiding the giant dinosaur outside.” Clayton will also relay what Kakarol said if it was speaking in Draconic.

"King of Feathers undisputed lord of Omu, yes. Best he be avoided. He ate many of my followers. But this not hiding place! Go!" 

Clayton turns to the group, “He says go, and also he works for Acererak, who I’m pretty sure has something to do with this.”

She whispers to Clayton, "We need help getting Mizzy out of her lion form, do they know anything?"
