The old man nods and takes your coin. "Good luck," he says nodding at the party again before moving back to his fellows behind the statue of Erathis.
Symbol of Erathis is all around you as well as on brilliant navy banners hanging from the walls of the temple that flap in the light fridged breeze of the cold winter day. It reminds you of a cog missing half it's teeth, you wonder what's behind the symbols purpose.
Zeek religion check to see if you know anything about Erathis in your studies at the monastery! Everyone else feel free to make other checks, ask other questions about the center of the bazaar or hell shop!

Zeek you know that Erathis is the lawful neutral goddess of civilization. She is a founder of cities and writer of law, revered by rulers and inventors. She is the lover of Melora, goddess of the Abundant Terrance.

Zeek turns to Ranla and Trym, and with a gesture to the banners and the statue around us, I say: "Erathis is law giver, and city builder. She is civilisation, and progress. As such, she still loves the nature and the wild, and Melora and her are a couple. Erathis serves as muse to inventors and rulers alike. She's a bit stern for my taste, with her rules and systems and justice upon all, regardless of the circumstances and so on, but I like the sentiments she represents, generally speaking." With that, I start heading towards the group of believers, trying to listen what they talk about.

Trym puts a hand on Zeke’s arm, the only part of him she can reasonably reach. “Never fear Truthseeker friend, I shall take point this time, perhaps my way with words will do us better.” Trym this time leads the three of them into the temple, carefully opening the doors to get a good look around at the temple and its inhabitants.
Zeek follows Trym, and upon entering the temple, heads towards what he thinks is the altar, and lights a stick of incense, as an offering to Erathis. The ways of the gods are mysterious, and he hasn't seen any temples of Ioun in this city, so maybe Eranthis might be his best bet. After all, a goddess of innovation can't be too unhappy with the seekers of truth and knowledge.

Entering the Erathis temple you are hit immediately with the scent of sandalwood and jasmine. There no visible acolytes or priests and the two clerics stand beside the double rooted entrance. The doors however are closed. The part of the temple you've entered is separated from what you can assume is the main chamber. You entered through area 1 into area 2 seeing areas 3-5 are bustling with activity of women rearranging flowers and offerings aroun the feet of several statues.
Ezekiel heads towards what he thinks is an altar, (the dark area past 3) and lights a stick of incense as an offering (OOC: figured out how to do the edit) and utters a short prayer to Erathis.

Zeek: You cannot go passed area 3 it's literally a walled off area. Entering a space you have to investigate or wait for descriptions first. The clerics stop you from lighting anything.
Area 3 is an open atrium with a glass roof looking out onto a gray winter day. The dim light of midday struggling through the clouds fills the area already illuminated by thousands of candles. The area is lined by stone columns and has a gleaming tile floor. Areas 4-5 are of women arrange exotic looking flowers and fruits at the feet of the statues. They are speaking in low tones to one another looking at the party with curiously stern looks. Areas 4 and 5 are devotion areas with statues of great citizens of Vasselheim who contributed to the city. The two largest statues in areas 4 and 5 which look across the atrium at one another are of Erathis and another woman in flowing robes with a staff, it's Melora.
Holding his hands out stopping Zeek, a young male cleric says "Apologies but today the temple is closed for a private funeral. The public procession will take place in one hours time. If you would please exit the temple," the younger cleric explains stepping forward as an older cleric, that looks like she's reaching for her mace, is standing behind him to back him up.
What do I have to roll to prevent Zeek from getting angry and, verbally, lashing out at the priest? A wisdom save?
