This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

Kellen, you start as if to move out of the hedge and find that you are rather tangled in branches and vines. Make a Strength check to see if you can get out.
Also, you do notice that one of the hawks on the far side of the field (#2) is stirring and about to take flight again. That's odd. It should still be asleep.

“Thank you, Ember!” Celesta replies with a smile. to the group she says “Lets gather these hawks quick - you know the old saying‘don’t count your blood hawks before their bagged!”
“Of course I trust you, Ember” Kellen’s eyes are wide when he sees the holy fire around Ember’s hands, but he does get relief from his wounds. “Thank you”
As he begins to move out of the hedge, he finds himself caught on the branches and struggles to break free. Athletics: 9.
Noticing the hawk stirring on the far side of the field, he warns the others. “How strange, are these creatures resistant to magic? Look, that one is waking up over there. Quick, grab the others before it is too late!”

(Sorry, I should have said we are still in initiative order. Below are your actions for Round 2)
Concerned about the first group of hawks waking, Tellior dashes over to one of the hawks still sleeping from Celesta’s initial spell (Hawk 3). He gets to it, but can’t quite get it in the bag yet. The hawk that Kellen noticed stirring gets to its feet, shakes its head, and prepares to take flight again (Hawk 2).
Ember steps over to Kellen in the hedge and uses his holy fire to heal him for 10 points. (He doesn’t quite have time to get to Celesta yet.) Kellen attempts to escape the hedge, but can’t seem to pull free. (Kellen, please roll a d100.)
Celesta steps over to bag one of the sleeping hawks nearby (Hawk 6). Her owl lets out a quiet hoot to alert her that another hawk from the first group seems to be rousing. From somewhere nearby, Tellior hears a quiet, creaky voice mutter, “Steal my beauties, will you? I think not!” Unaware, Aspen adds another sleeping hawk to his bag (Hawk 8).
(At this point, two hawks are awake, four are still asleep, and three have been bagged. Tellior is up, followed by the hawks.)

Tellior casts Ray of Frost at Hawk 2. He then grabs shield and sword as he moves to stand just to the spot north of Hawk 5 and still near Hawk 4. He tries to draw the attention of Hawk 4.

(Spell Attack: 20, Damage: 4 cold)
Tellior's beam of pure cold hits the hawk, causing it to squawk in anger.
(Are you staying in the row you are in and moving one step west so you are 15 feet north of Hawk 5? Or are you moving around to the next row south of you so you are in melee with Hawks 4 and 5?)

As Tellior hurries through the opening in the row of berry bushes to take a position near two of the hawks, he bumps into something that hisses and seems to recoil from him. He doesn’t see anything, but there is definitely something in the space just north of the sleeping hawk (#5) in that row. He doesn’t have much time to think about that unpleasant surprise, because he immediately must defend himself from attacks by the two conscious hawks.
Attack: 17 Damage: 4
Attack: 10 Damage: 3
He dodges one hawk's attack and the other clangs against his shield. Neither is able to reach him with their sharp beaks.

Ember reaches into the vines and branches of the hedge, grabs his gnome friend and pulls him free. Kellen is now in the space just north of Ember. The paladin then turns back toward the field, sees Tellior being attacked by two hawks, and brings his fire down upon him (Shield of Faith, I assume). While it looks terrifying, Tellior just feels a warm, comforting heat.
(Kellen is up, followed by Celesta. Also, Ember, do you want to stay where you are?)
