In the middle of Dinner? Or have you finished eating?
Mako eats fast, he grew up in a forest, so eating quick kept predators from catching you
In that case, a goblin who was seemingly waiting for him walks up. "If you'll follow me, your room is this way." He begins walking down the hall.
"Um, alright," He follows behind
You're brought to a decently-sized, nicely furnished room, with a chair and desk next to a chest in the corner, complete with writing paper, ink bottles, and a few quills. In the other corner sits a bunkbed, implying that you'll be sharing this space with someone. The goblin leaves you to check it out.
He looks through the chest
It's empty, most likely waiting for you to fill it. After all, this is supposed to be your room.
"hmm,"
Is it big enough to fit a body?
Halfling-sized, yes. Dwarf-sized, probably. Human-sized, if you took everything out and did a lot of squeezing. Half-orc sized, only if a bunch of bones are broken, including ones required for survival.
I don't think i'll need to stick a living body in the trunk, so thats fine
Then why did you ask!?
I'm glad you couldn't connect the dots. What type of body thats not a living one can i stick in a trunk?
A dead one? *Nervous Zumm noises*

Yeah, but why use a bed when you have a chest?
Because you could not fit a half orc in the chest
Then make the chest bigger!
Eh, imma hide some bodies
Ok, but please don't murderhobo these NPCs, they're important to the story and will definitely fight back.

I was thinking you were going to try sleeping in it, actually.
Theres a bed though?
Yeah, but why use a bed when you have a chest?
Because you could not fit a half orc in the chest
Then make the chest bigger!
Eh, imma hide some bodies
Ok, but please don't murderhobo these NPCs, they're important to the story and will definitely fight back.
Only level 1, need the exp, but will respect your wishes
You're only level 1, you aren't going to be able to kill hundreds of goblins and an artificer anyways.
Alright
Mako heads back into the dinner area, "Do you have any jobs we can do?"
"Of course, but the only ones that can be done in a storm like this have already been done. First thing tomorrow, you'll start working, and as skyship passage ain't cheap, you'll have to work pretty hard. Best get your sleep tonight, you might not be able to tomorrow."
"A storm cannot stop me. However, the others may not have that lack of restriction"
"No, I mean it. if you go outside in these winds, you'll be blown right over the side. You physically cannot do any tasks tonight."
"Alright, then i shall sleep." He heads back to his room for a long rest
