Last 2 Sprites attacking the Lord (per your request): 10, 22. One arrow sticks into The Verdant Lord's neck and he groans weakly (14). He seems to look about the room with a confused stupor. Despite the unatural buoyancy of his form, he seems too weak to actually move any significant distance.
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
Dang, I thought with his swimming speed he would have some combat power.
Perrin shouts across the room:
"Verdant Lord, please come to your senses, look around you, at the monstrocities that have taken over your home and mind controlled you. Do you know of anything that could help us fight them and free your lady?"
(If anyone would like to make knowledge checks to connect some plot dots, you're more than welcome)

(Well, I guess you get the Monster Manual/DM Notes Special)
The Lord is suffering from some sort of wasting condition which causes severe atrophy. His general responsiveness is sluggish and disoriented, likely a side-effect of prolonged mental enslavement and psychic battery. His skin is the most concerning of all: there is no life to it, as though the blood is gone and replaced by water. Aboleths are creatures native to the plane of Water and they emit a mucous cloud which infects everything around them. The disease has taken hold of The Verdant Lord somehow and his skin cannot survive prolonged exposure to the air.
The area appears to be an underground spring, likely the source of the area's fresh water. From the corruption you witnessed in the area, the pit likely leads to other areas of the forest and the aboleths' presence has taken a toll on the water's purity. This must be what the treants were referring to when they mentioned a corruption in the watet.
The Chuul are mindless servants of the aboleths; long-forgotten constructs whose purpose was to capture new offerings and slaves for their masters. Best to stay away from the tentacles on their heads as they drip with some foul liquid.
As for the aboleths, they have become a corrupting element in the local environment. The water is supernaturally fouled by their presence, though not beyond repair. Unfortunately, the flora in the area has suffered from this corruption and may take years to recover. Why they have come here or were able to take over the minds of two powerful beings is a mystery.

Still waiting to be able to cut hose vines and engage. I think that I’ll do it at the end of this round so next one Kyrthas will join the fight... with his lame initiative I am afraid but... better than nothing!
Just need Caelynn's actions for the turn, though grappled. Moving at a Dash, you will have come up just short of the barrier and will be able to try and attack it next round.

Caelynn takes her Minor Action to take a defensive posture within the chitinous claw (+2AC).
With Caelynn preoccupied by the guardians, an aboleth swims to the pool's edge and lashes out at Perrin with its tentacles:
Vs. Perrin: 28 for 8, 29 for 7, 12 for 12, bonus 2 damage for the crit. Due to Perrin's connection to Nature, the slimy residue on the aboleth's tentacles have no effect except to stain the halfling's clothes.
Perrin and Sohyme are up! At the end of round, Sohyme, Kyrthas, and Vaike will have reached the entrance of the cave (Dashing). Grido will reach the cave at the end of next round due to his "detour".

(Assuming you didnt want to engulf Caelynn as she's grappled with Chuul4. Verdant Lady WIS save: 25. Sorry, tidal wave like that hits the room, there's going to be collateral)
(Forgot a Blink Dog save as well since they are engaged with the Chuuls: 21. Only rolling for 1 that is grappled. Overflow will be an extension to another dog.)

Chuul2 tries to clamp into the remaining dogs: 20 for 16, 8 for 13. One of the dogs dodges the pincer, but the other is crushed and dissapears in a puff of smoke

There's 2 more sprites (out of the 5, only 3 shot the lady) who were were going to shoot the Verdant Lord (since Caelynn made his save).
(Sorry, today is a really off day :/)
