Hurren will draw the tapestry aside, looking behind it. If it is a blank wall, he will help Malichi or anyone else that would care to investigate for secret doors.
Zensiro follows along, relaying his findings to the party, particularly that healing magic seems to counteract the effects of the wine and slow the transformation, but does little for the masks. Remove curse will likely be required for that.
(Sorry been quiet today, been sick in bed the majority of it.)
A steep, tight staircase leads downstairs into a windowless stone chamber in the lower level of the castle. Dried herbs hang from hooks on the walls, and there is a wooden table covered with empty vials that smell foul. Several censers emit a gray smoke.
Dexen (who enters with the party like a good bot), inhales deeply. " Well whatever horrors are down here, that smell is delicious".
The laboratory contains a gruesome sight: five dead creatures lay atop five tables. The races of the creatures vary: there is a human male, a dwarf woman with vivid red hair, a half-orc woman, a half-elf man, and a gnome man. None of them wear a mask. Each of the bodies is missing a limb, and animal parts have been crudely sewn to the bodies in place of the missing limbs. The animal’s bodies cannot be found.
You hear a faint scratching sound coming from the darkness in the corner of the room.
Can anyone with celestial blood, or closely related/connected to a celestial Entity please roll a constitution check.
For Malachi:
You find the smell of the smoke pleasant; as does anyone with infernal heritage or connection to the infernal.
"Secret doors are well and good, but I prefer looking for traps. They usually such lovely surprises" Malichi says, seemingly unconcerned, but his eyes are systematically taking the room apart "tova" he mutters under his breath.

Malichi Perception: 14
You spot a chest next to a California King sized bed.
Skrach will look over the dead bodies. He is looking to investigate the following;
Do the animal parts on each body match the mask?
What was the cause of death?
Are the bodies being used magically on any way?
(Not sure what you would need me to roll)
Investigation: 5
Medicine: 9
Arcana: 14
None of the bodies are wearing a mask.
These look like dead bodies to you, the limbs sown on look canine on all the bodies.
With your magical nature you recognise that necromancy may have been attempted, to create a Frankenstein like monster, you speculate. It is clear that whatever was used did not work.
As for cause of death; you notice that there are no no signs of a fight (no bruises, lacerations , or ligature marks). The victims were likely unconscious and disposed of at a later time during their unconscious state. Flint's mouth still sounds like it has cotton wool in it, and you're aware that he only had the wine in his mouth briefly before spotting it out.
The scratching noise down the far end of the room has stopped

Oh geez, hope you feel better soon. Don't drink the wine, it's poisoned ;)
Hurren will ignite a torch and slowly advance toward the source of the scratching.
You spot a dishevelled wererat in hybrid form hiding away in the dark (AC 12; immune to non magical weapons; con 11 saving throw to avoid wererat lycanthropy if the wererat lands a hit on a humanoid) . It looks like it's been locked in the dark for long periods of time. Just before it screeches and charges at the party you notice a lever on the wall, and the corpse of a Halfling wearing a dog mask; his face has been gnawed on, but it is unmistakably Zonanan who you saw upstairs at the start of the party.
With reckless abandon, the werecat will lunge at Skrach attempting to bite for 4 damage. 20
The wererat succeeds and it grasps you in its gnarled claws as it sinks it's teeth into your upper arm.
Skrach tries to recoil from the bite, but is clamped in the arms of the wererat.
Despite the pain in his shoulder, he smiles a wicked grin as his skin turns black, and his body starts to swell. Thick black hairs emerge as each of his limbs split in two, extending and forming additional joints. his lips bulge outwards and split into mandibles. The tattoo on his back flares quickly before fading into the black carapace.

Somehow sensing that ordinary fists and feet will not be of use, Hurren calls on his Newfound divine magic to imbue his hands with crackling energy. He strikes at the wererat.

(EPIC!! that was fun to read, and my eyes widened a bit, I can't wait to see what you do next. Good writing!)

Shocking grasp Attack: 19 Damage: 3
The Wererat recoils as Scrach contorts and grows. Hurren lands his punch and the Wererat lets out a scream before his joints lock up and his body succumbs to the energy now coursing through his dishevelled frame.
The Wererat takes a second to recover, opening himself to 1 more attack from the party before he responds

“Someone should watch the stairs. I am sure that the vulture has warned the cat lady by now.” Flint reminds the others. His attention is immediately drawn to the creature attacking Skrach and Hurren. Looking on in awe as Skrach transforms into a giant spider, he quickly gains his wits and pulls his maul around, striking at the wererat
Attack: 25 Damage: 14
"Tough little bugger, isn't he"Flint grimaces as he realizes his blow had little effect on the creature.

Zensiro sizes up the situation and does not like what he sees. "Gentlemen, I'm afraid my weapons won't be of much use against that beast. I'll watch the steps, but I can pelt the rat with arrows if you think it would help. What about this lever on the wall here next to our departed antagonist Zonanan?" Zensiro will then inspect the lever to determine its purpose and hope that some magical backup will arrive.
Hurren shouts, "Dexan and I will attempt to subdue the beast, you guard our rear in case the mistress of the house arrives! that lever likely opens the passage back into the kitchens, where Flint and I were before."
Skrach will disengage as a bonus action, extending his new limbs as he tests the limits of this form. Flexing his legs, he sinks the tiny hairs into the stonework, scurrying up the wall and onto the ceiling.
His mandibles click and hiss a he regards the wererat and his companions, and he fire a globule of sticky silk at the shocked wererat.
Behind the tapestry is a stone door
Hurren calls the attention of his companions, and attempts to open the door.
Link to secret room
You push at the door and it clicks , before sliding into a recess. What you see before you is a staircase leading down into darkness .
Those of the party without dark vision will need to light a torch if they go down.
