Flint wrestles the dwarf to the ground, pinning him in place with one hand and most of his considerable frame. With the guard immobilized, Flint raises his free hand into a fist and punches down to the dwarf's face. (OOC: Yes, I am maintaining the grapple as he is moved to prone)

The Cranky Clergyman: Deep Opaque Black with Stark White Head. Adapted from a well aged potion of cure wounds, this bitter drink feels and tastes like poison before entering the stomach. A brief moment later, warm feelings emanate from the drinker's gut as some small wounds seal up. A tavern favorite for after-brawl drinks. DC 11 Con Save, 1d4 poison damage upon fail. One round later (approx. five seconds) later, heals 2d4 hit points

Poorman's Wine: looks like watered down milk. A drink made from potatoes, milk and some other kind of ingredients that you don't really want to think about. Raw and lacking in finesse and taste, it does the job it's supposed to - getting you blazing drunk... and maybe forgetting about your old ball and chain of a wife. Allows the consumer to forget one painful recent memory(in the last two weeks) for 4 hours

Kossuths' Kiss : Red and Flamey Cinnamon Schnapps with a special proprietary ingredient the bartender lights on fire before serving. No Special effects. Feels nice and warm though

Twisty: Looks like white yogurt on top, purplish liquid underneath. Topped in a thick layer of savory yogurt, it is both a drink and meal in one. The drink itself contains the flavours of blueberries mixed in with a helping of spirits. You feel youthful, almost as if the drink has taken you a few years back into your past. Heart of the Halls: Clear liquor distilled from only the most select yellow mould, this sharp-tongued spirit brings vigor and life to any looking for a good fight. Temporary +2 Str and +1 Acrobatics. +5 against intimidation checks for the remainder of the night.

Ouzo: Clear to shimmering white in appearance it tastes like a centaur put on a shoe made out of black licorice and then kicked you in the mouth with it. A guard leans over; " You'll find the Sgt is more dangerous on her back than when she is upright; upright she will only hit you with fists, on her back..... Well have you ever seen a wild brumby buck when it's cornered and trying to be caught? Same imagery. I pity the fool that thinks by knocking Modesty prone , they've gained any advantage. Helewyn on the other hand; this is almost painful to watch".
Another guard pulls the guard talking to you aside; you overhear " Hey listen, get a few of the more sober guards together........." "..... Yea hide his Warhammer and have a drink waiting...."
The original guard chimes back; " sorry friend, duty calls; your fighter mate in the ring is pretty good though isn't he?" The guard smiles and disappears in the crowd before you can respond.
Flint drags the struggling guard to the edge of the pit and, grabbing Helewyn by the belt in one hand and the scruff of his next in the other hand, heaves him outside the area, crashing into a table and scattering the crowd of onlookers.
Without celebration, Flint exits the arena as well, helping Helewyn up and giving him a sharp slap on the back. “Well fought! You are a strong one, you pack a lot of fight. Let me buy you a drink.” He turns to Halfroc “A drink for my new friend here, whatever he wants, on me!”
Flint is wheezing and a little out of breath from his exertions, but he gives a wink to Skrach and his companions.
Flint drags the struggling guard to the edge of the pit and, grabbing Helewyn by the belt in one hand and the scruff of his next in the other hand, heaves him outside the area, crashing into a table and scattering the crowd of onlookers.
Without celebration, Flint exits the arena as well, helping Helewyn up and giving him a sharp slap on the back. “Well fought! You are a strong one, you pack a lot of fight. Let me buy you a drink.” He turns to Halfroc “A drink for my new friend here, whatever he wants, on me!”

" Aye lad, well met well met.... That was a good tactic. I'm glad you spared me more hits" Helewyn pulls closer to you " don't tell the others , but your punches felt like hammer blows, I didn't mean the elf stuff, and sorry for saying you eat stones, you're a generous lad."
Helewyn turns to Halfroc. " A glass of goats milk to wash my mouth out and a cranky clergyman"
Helewyn holds out his hand to shake; "cranky clergyman haha, I'm sure that's what people call me behind my back. Aye now I've heard about this masquerade... The Lieutenant thinks there's a connection to the body parts found. Take my advice lad, strange going on's happen in that lodging house, don't trust a single thing that comes out of it."
Helewyn swills the goats milk and spits it back into his cup, the milk now a tainted red. Halfroc takes the cup, considers adding it to the slog, then decides better and tosses it in the bucket destined for the drain. Helewyn downs the cranky clergyman, avoiding the ill effects; Helewyn shakes his head vigorously as the concoction sears down his throat , then the bruises on his face, which were starting to bloom, begin to fade as the healing effects of the drink start to kick in 2 HP gained.
Helewyn looks around; " who took my hammer!!!" Helewyn's voice booms as lightning crackles in his clenched fists and he leaves to search for his Warhammer.
“Zen, Mal, you got any money on this? Looks like I am gonna break big here.“ He then stands and shouts“Get it over with Flint lad!”
Halfroc settles the pot and approaches with 4 GP. " That was a bold move. His guard mates gave me his hammer to hide; wondering now if that was wise of me, I've seen what he can do with that hammer and I don't think the lightening bolt sigils carved on the face are just decorative... He's some kind of cleric, though I've never seen him at any temple"
Halfroc has a small pouch with coins waiting behind the bar for Flint. An inspection of the bag reveals a mixture of gold, silver and electrum pieces.
Before you collect the bag Halfroc will direct you to the cleansing stone " get that blood cleaned off you, this is a fiiine establishment." Halfroc wipes a sweat laden hand across his forehead, smearing the dirt on his brow.
Flint gives a small smile as he steps over and places his hand on the cleansing stone. Most of the blood was Helewyn’s, but it and most of the sweat and grime melted away. The mud and dust stubbornly remained, however. He steps back to the bar and takes the bag. “I will have that Twisty’s now, it was on the house if I remember correctly.” He slides 7 coppers over “This is for my new friend's drink” then pauses and slides over an additional gold piece. "Here's a little something for your trouble. Keep me in mind for future fights, I will be back. Most fun I have had in awhile." He then takes a closer look at the pouch, counting up his winnings.
Almost as an afterthought, he asks Halfroc “So what do you hear about the Founder’s Ball? My understanding is that it is quite the hot ticket.”
